Coner listened to her talk. He began to think about how many humans would be at the mall...he hoped there were few. He bit his lip, his eyes we're very slowly shifting back to a light green.

Ayra nodded, "I adore it. But I don't live there any more, so there's no use in dreading on the past." Ayra smiled. And that was wise words from Ayra. Ayra thought about how stupid that sounded, but true. She kept her gaze away from Coner, something was so strange about him, Ayra couldn't stop herself from being curious.

"Oh." Abira said awkwardly. "Hey look, the mall." She said, pointing and smiling slightly, glad that the bus trip was over. She sighed happily and slid out from her seat. "Well, the malls." She said. The 'mall' was a chain of malls and stores. A strip mall, if you wish to call it that.

The bus clambered to a stop, sending a slight jolt when the wheels finally stopped moving. Abira nodded at the driver, then stepped down the stairs as smells began circling around her. Vampires, humans, animals. Some of the smells were so overpowering, Abira felt her eyes slowly change and turn a deep red. Focus, Abira. She snapped at herself, trying to block out the delicious scents. "Ayra, you want to go to Khol's, right?" Abira said, barely walking towards the store.

Ayra stepped out of the bus behind Abira. "Yeah, Coner, do you want to come?" Ayra turned to Coner. She ignored his eyes, they were still slightly red. Ayra glanced around for the giant store of Khol's, not wanting to stare at Coner's eyes too long.

Coner's gaze was locked on the ground, but he nodded slightly. His body was stiff again, just like it had been when he had first met Ayra. "Sure," he said softly. He was attempting to change his eyes back to normal, which was going to be difficult because almost everything smelled liked humans around here.

Abira saw Coner's red eyes. Afraid he wouldn't be able to control himself by humans, she came to his side. "Coner, there is some food nearby. Go eat. Ayra and I will meet you later. Okay?" She said, reaching her hand out to his shoulder. Abira reached back quickly, sensing his thirst was dangerously high. "Go eat." She said before walking closely to Ayra, almost herding her towards the mall. "Come on. He'll be okay." Abira was unsure though, as she glanced over her shoulder to see Coner again.

Coner closed his eyes for a moment, trying to calm himself. He sighed and clenched his teeth together. He was tempted to attack Ayra, but he held back. He opened his eyes again and turned to the others."I'll be fine," he told them quietly. "I just haven't been so close to so many humans," he added to Abira in a whisper. His eyes kept flashing back to green as he tried to control his thirst.

"Okay... Come on then." She said doubtfully, her voice breaking slightly. Abira walked along the sidewalk, keeping an eye on Coner. "Kohl's," She said nervously, pointing to a large part of the stores. "Up there." Abira said, picking up her pace slightly.

Ayra's brow furrowed as she thought about how wierd Abira and Coner were acting... Ayra didn't have all the pieces yet, but she would. Ayra opened the door and looked around. She headed over to where Ayra guess would be Abira and her sizes.

Coner followed them inside the store slowly. He looked around, barely taking any breaths, in fear that he would get overwhelmed with human scents.
