A long way home (Teen roleplay)

"Hmm well we need to get out of here." Jane said pointing out the obvious. "How many others would you say there are?"

"So far I have met two others. Their names are, from what I remember, Dean and Shelby, I believe. They are the two that came to your "Rescue" not but a moment ago." Medo continued to listen to the constant footsteps. "They might know we're here."

"Oh speaking of names I'm Jane, Jane Doe." she said holding out her hand.

[Hijacked]

Medo stared at it for a moment, then shook it slowly. "My name is Medo Shear." She said and gave a weak smile.

Dean woke up and looked at his sister. He saw that she was asleep. Dean didn't want to wake her up.

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Medo" Jane said smiling.

Medo jumped back to the door and listened. The footsteps had stopped, but she heard whispering. "I think they're surrounding us." She calmly said. "We need to either hide, or get out of here. If you want, I can distract them."

"Lets hide." Jane said as she scanned the room for the best hiding spaces. There were some old trunks, a small cupboard, and a few dark corners. "Pick a spot any spot." she said before climbing into a trunk.

Medo quietly stepped over to the cupboard and shoved herself in it. It was a tight fit, but she could manage.

Shelby woke up. She sat up and leaned her head against the cabinet.
"Did you sleep well?" Dean asked.
Shelby nodded.
