Shane shook her head and hugged him. "i swear i won't let him get near you" She said unsure of why She hugged him. It might have been because she wanted to be a hunter and if she was she'd never be able to do this again.

Max hugged back, "Dont become a hunter..." max whispered into her ear. "You wont be allowed to do this again if u do,"

Shane felt tears well I'n her eyes. Max really didn't want her to be a hunter. She sighed. "i won't" she said concluding that bit. She wanted to stay I'n max's arms which were warm.
