7. If you choose to give your character powers, they cant be rediculous. They cant shape shift or anything, but they can have reasonable powers such as: wingless flight, X-ray vision, laser vision, changeable pigmentation, or super flexability. Anything along these lines is fine.

Her parents got a divorce a week after they moved. Her dad married his dead sister's best friend. They had 3 children. Her mom married a random guy she met at a bar and had 3 children as well. The following year, her mom's uncle died from cancer. When she was 9, her step-mom died shortly after her step-sister, Samantha, was born. The next year, her dad beat her sister to death. She wasn't sad when her parents died in a wreck and her step-dad committed suicide the next year. When she was 16, she drank and took drugs and had a daughter. She doesn't drink or take drugs any longer. Her boyfriend abused her for 6 months following her daughter's birth and she left, taking her daughter with her. Now, she struggles to pay for the house they both live in.
