[Zitface]

"Gaddang DVD player!" TARDIS said, growling at the DVD player which had just ejected the DVD so hard the disc shattered against the wall. "Why did I want a sentient DVD player?! R2, think you can numb its sentience, make it stupid enough not to rebel, but keep it smart? In the movies, the real R2 was great at those things!" TARDIS said, and Numb nodded excitedly in agreement.

[Cynical]

R2 stood up and walked over to the DVD player. "Yeah, but I'm not the real R2," he said. "I'm just a copy, right?" He bent down to the DVD player and examined it. He reached around the back of the television set and unplugged a wire. "This should do the trick," he said. He turned the wire over multiple times and stuck it back in. A small shock of electricity ran down it. He stood back up. "Try that, maybe?"

[Zitface]

TARDIS gently put in another movie the DVD player had hated, and it didnt spit it out. "Phew. See, you are good at something! Besides, you arent a copy. You're a fusion. You have a bit of the REAL R2 right in you." TARDIS said, and Numb shook her head and laughed. "You'll be very useful in emergency tech failure." she said seriously.

[Cynical]

R2 nodded. "Whatever you say." He said, turning around and sitting back on the couch.

Numb stood up and said, "I missed breakfast. I'll be right back." She then stood up and left the room.

[Cynical]

R2 looked up at her, then back down at his stomach. Clearly he ate too much. He said, "Well, now what do we do?"

[Zitface]

"Well, we cou-" TARDIS was cut off by a bloodcurdling scream that could only be Numbs. "NO! Not the Drones again!" TARDIS shouted as he unfurled wings that had grown from his back. A few black feathers flew as he flew on the dead air inside massive corridors, following the echoes of the scream. The Drones were hybrids of droidz,dog robots armed with powerful weapons, and massive wolfdogs. They were powerful sentinals and assasins that occaisonally attacked the lab. TARDIS emerged out of the corridor with a VERY high ceiling and lots of air lift. He soared til his hair was brushing the ceiling and went into a deadmans spiral and openening his wings and swinging his legs out at the right moment, sending a powerful kick into the ribs of one Drone.

[Cynical]

"Drones?" R2 asked, standing up. He had no flying abilities whatsoever, so he ran out of the room, trying to locate Numb's scream. "Where is she?" he asked himself, until he skidded to a halt, where a Drone was right around the corner. He cursed under his breath and dashed the other way. He almost called out Numb's name, but thought otherwise. The Drones would more than likely hear him and he didn't want to blow his cover. "Numb?" he whispered, running out of ideas. He heard another scream and took off running once more.

[Zitface]

Numb finally had the sense to morph claws and begin lashing and firing eye-lasers. Onces the Drones there were dead and withering, TARDIS and her went off to find R2, and saw the Drone stalking him. TARDIS decided to forget stealth and began performing many aerial attacks, and finally got fed up with the resiliency and teleported it to a sun. Once back in the corridor he said, "I have had enough of these jackanapes!" and teleported the rest to the sun, and came back bearing a few deep wounds.

[Cynical]

"Dear God," R2 said, running over to TARDIS and Numb. "Are you guys okay? Hey, I'm really sorry I wasn't able to stop them." He looked at TARDIS' wounds. "What happened?" He felt bad, he didn't have any stealthy abilites, but all in all, he was just glad that they where safe. Or somewhat safe. TARDIS didn't look alright. Hey, he was alive. It was the most R2 could ask for.
