A Forgotten Dream [1x1]

Tori smiled when he said that he would stay. Her cheeks turned red when he kissed her. It felt amazing, but at the same time she felt guilty. She could feel how much he loves her, but because of her amnesia she can't return the feelings. As much as she loved his kisses, she felt guilty, but she doesn't want to push him away.

When Lucas tells her he loves her, Tori's body felt warm inside. But this made her feel guilty again. She didn't like how he kept pouring his heart out for her, but she couldn't even remember anything.

Slowly, Tori fell asleep. Her body was at ease but her mind and heart wasn't. All she could feel was guilt. She could feel her heart contradicting with her mind. Her heart beats for him, but her mind can't even remember who he is.

Tori woke up early in the morning. She opened her eyes and noticed that he was still asleep beside her. A smile came across her lips as she lifted her hand and placed it on his cheek. She slowly caressed his cheek with her thumb. He looked so peaceful and handsome.

"I'm sorry I can't remember you...." she whispered as tears began to fall down her cheek. Tori closed her eyes as she slowly removed her hand from his cheek. Tears continued to fall down her cheek while she sobbed quietly.

Lucas awoke because of Tori's touch and when he opened his eyes she was crying. He heard her speak and he got up and embraced her in another hug. "Stop crying, please," he said. His voice was soft but at the same time forcefull. "It's not your fault you can't remember me."

Lucas finally let go after a long while and lifted a hand to carress her cheek. He wiped her face where tears had fallen with his thumb and looked compasionatly into her eyes. "It's not your fault," he said again. His heart ached at the fact she couldn't remember him. It seemed like he was the most important person in her life but now he was nothing to her. A tear formed in his eye but he tried to hold it back.

Victoria noticed he was near to tears. She pulls him to her and give him a hug, "It's okay to cry...." she continued to hold him tightly while she herself began to cry. Then she slowly released, "I know it's my fault and I'm sorry....." she said looking down while her voice trailed off.

The doctor came in and checked up on Tori. Everyhing was stable but her memory was stil lacking. "In my years of experience, the only reason she's having difficulty remembering you is because you were the only thing in her mind during the accident. It happens quite often. The one thing or person they were thinking off is the hardest to remember." he said and then left.

Tori looked at Lucas and smiled. "Then you must be very important to me...." she lifted her hand and placed it on his cheek. Her thumb caressed it side to side while she smiled weakly.

Lucas couldn't help but smile when the doctor spoke. "Huh," he said and he grabbed her free hand and held it. "I love you, Tori," he said as he leaned in to kiss her on the lips. Even though she couldn't remember him, the kiss still made a chill go down his spine. He loved the feeling of her lips against his. Hopefully her memory would return eventually and they could have more memories together.

He released finally and then smiled wt her "When do you get outta here?" he asked, a slight bit of wonder to his alluring voice.

Victoria blushed as his warm lips pressed onto hers. Her eyes closed, then they opened when he pulled away. She didn't k ow what to say after he said those three words. It wasn't like she could just say it, because she wants to mean it when she does.

Tori sat up and brushed her hair, "I look like a mess by now don't I?" she laughed nervously and tries to fix her hair. "I think I'll be leaving in a week..." she was unsure but she hoped that she would. Tori hated being stuck in this hospital for too long. She begins to feel worst than she already did.

"I think you look beautiful," Lucas said, looking into her eyes. It was true, Tori's brown hair would frame her face beautifully no matter if it was messy or perfectly combed. The way her eyes shone through hm made him weak, something he was perfectly okay with.

"That's much shorter then when I was in the hos-" Lucas stopped himself, remembering that Tori couldn't remember his injury. "I was in the hospital for 6 weeks when I broke my leg," he cleared up, glancing down at his boot for a split second.

His compliment made Tori blush. Her cheeks turned redder than before while she stroke her hair once more and looked at him. Then he mentioned his broken leg. She looked down and gasps to the sight of his boot.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that. How are you doing?" she asked him concern. She had a sad look upon her face and her happy green eyes turned warm and compassionate. She looked at him deeply with a sad look hoping that he's okay. Could his injury be because of her? Then suddenly her head ached, "Ahhh..." she grunted and grasped her head and closed her eyes. Her head jutted again, but no memory came to her. Then she looked at him and smiled weakly showing him that she's alright.

"Alright, I can walk and hopefully play soccer again soon," he said with a smile. He tilited his head when she grimmaced in pain and squeezed her hand. "You alright love?" he asked, concerned about her health.

Lucas thought back to the time that they were out at the garden, the memory bringing a smile to his face. It was quite unfortunate that Tori couldn't remember that, since it was once of his favorite memories. All he could hope for now was they she would regain at least some of her memory.

Victoria nodded and placed her hand on his cheek. He looked so sad... She knew it was because of her memory lose and she hated herself for it. Her eyes fell on his as she caress his cheek with her eyes closed.

She could feel his warm cheeks on her hand. It almost felt like his warmth was traveling through her cold hands and to her heart. It would be a good idea to get out of the room, so she slowly got up. Her knees buckled weak while she tried to stand up. Bu sue accidentally fell on Lucas, "S-sorry..." she said laughin nervously as she stood up. Though it hurts to get up, she didn't bother complaining to him. She caused him enough trouble and she didn't want to go on with more.

"W-will you come to the courtyard with me? I heard they had beautiful flowers there and I could use the fresh air." she said with a smile. Slowly, she weakly walked over to the door and held her hand out for him to take. Her green eyes was filled with joy and her smile was genuine.

Lucas nodded as he stood up and took her hand, walking out to the courtyard. He fought back the memories and tears began to well up in his eyes. He made his was over to a bench and sat down, leaning over to pick a tullip from beside him.

He turned back to Tori and handed her the single red flower. "For you, beautiful," he said as one tear rolled down his cheek. He really didn't know exactly why he was crying but he couldn't help it. The day in the courtyard was by far one of his favorite memories of him and Tori and it was a horrible shame she couldn't remember it.
