Victoria gasped in shock as his friend pulled her into a hug. A light blush over-came her cheeks, but immediately went away as his parents entered the room. She smiled and slowly released their hug and watched as his mother cried. Looking away, Tori headed out of the room. She didn't want to interfere with their family's matter, but she over-heard the doctor. The way he talked about his leg was unbearable. She couldn't imagine Lucas not being able to play soccer again; it was practically his life.
Tori walked slowly into the bathroom and she began to cry. She didn't want Lucas or his parent's to see her crying. He was going into surgery soon and all she could do then was to wait, hope, and pray for his recovery. A couple minutes later, she wiped her tears and washed her face. Hoping that it would remove the tear marks that's left on her face. She pulled out her foundation and patted her face with a light covered of the powder, hoping to conceal her teary eyes. She then left the restroom and sat back in the waiting room. The doors in the ER was already closed which meant that Lucas was about to go into his surgery.
