Malair held her close. "Anne, I love you. I won't anyone take you away."

Anne went and sat on the window ledge, looking out into the street " come and look," she said softly

Malair followed her. He came up behind her and looked out.

Anne pointed at a man who was hitting his slave "Alexandro De Pablo, I used to call him master," she whisp[ered with a small sigh. A large limo came down the road slowly "He's from the mafia, richest guy in the country," she whispered as a fat man with a cigar got out of the limo.

Malair wrapped his arms around her protectively.

The large mafia guy was walking past when he saw Anne in the window. He looked at her for a minute then said something to the person beside him

Malair's jaw set. He didn't know why, but he wasn't going to let anything happen to Anne.

Dresyn looked back slightly, sighing.

Anne looked frightened as the man the mafia guy was talking to came up to the door and knocked

Johnny started to run again "Don't stop, they will release the dogs soon," he panted

Malair held her close and went over, keeping her behind him and slowly opening the door. "Yes?"

Dresyn looked at Johnny and nodded, running after him.

There was the barking of dogs as the master found out Dresyn was gone. Johnny stopped and put some red peppers on the ground "It will confuse the dogs," he said.

The man looked at Malair up and down before saying "My master noticed that you had a very interesting slave, he would like to buy her," he said, glancing at Anne.
