Lillith smiled and nodded her head once to Alex, "Pretty" she murmered. 'Pretty' was one of the few words she had learnt to say, as she rarely spoke to others she didn't see the point in trying to learn. She understood tones of voice and a few other words, but rarely took the time to try and understand them.
Luce hurried past the buildings, grasping the strap of her backpack so tight the whites of her knuckles showed against her already pale skin. Her eyes darted around her, the screams of other humans still echoing in her head.
Thunder crashed through the trees, not caring where he went, he only wished to get away from the strange beings that made his head hurt. He slowed his wingbeats to a more relaxed pace, yet he never stopped moving. To him, staying in one place was always trouble.
