He got to his feet and started to retrace his steps back to the Market. He's only paused to occasionally kick a stray stone out of his way, or press his nose to the window of a bakery. He'd hang around the entrance, at least until someone shooed him off or the baker started giving him uneasy glances. Just long enough to enjoy the sweet smells that came out of the parlor, sugary frosting and scents of other tantalizing treats that would never touch his lips. His stomach growled in protest as he pulled away from the window of the second bakery he'd stopped by in the past five minutes. He ignored his pangs of hunger, something he'd become accustomed to doing in the past few years. He shoved his hands in his pockets, trying not to stick any of his fingers through the holes, and continued further into the market.

((Sorry, I'd that you would've replied to that one.))

Tyren arrived at the section of the market where the merchants from Narcada sold their spices, with large bags filled to the brim with pepper, cinnamon, paprika, basil, and more that he couldn't even recognize. The sudden assault of the sharp smells on his nose made him sneeze and stumble forward. His shoulder slammed into someone's stomach, putting him even more off-balance and making him fall to the ground. His outstretch hands scraped against the sharp rocks on the street. Even though there were no deep cuts on his hand, his palms still tingled and stung. "Ow..." He muttered, looking up at the girl he had run into to. "Oops."

((mkay!))

Forest clutched her stomach a bit, and with a soft moan of pain she opened her eyes. She saw a boy on the ground. "I'm sorry," he muttered and stood up straight, one arm still wrapped around her stomach, the other extending out to him. "Here, let me help you,"

"Sorry, ma'am." He muttered, dusting his hands off roughly on his pants. When he looked up and saw the girl offering her hand to help him up, he blinked in surprise. He's expected her to be gone by now. "T-Thank you." He stammered slightly and took her hand, too surprised to consider how dirty his hands were. He pulled himself up quickly, not sure why she cared if he got up or not. He'd bumped into her, not the other way around.

((or was it? *suspicious eye*))

Forest smiled, "No problem," she said, dropping her hand to her side. He looked nice, needed a bath but nice. "I'm Forest," she said smiling, hoping maybe she would be able to not be alone for the next 5 minutes, like every hour of her life.

Scarlette

Scarlette fell back into the soft earth of the wildflower meadow. Her hair speawled out around her head, a bright contrast of pure white to the green earth and other colourful wildflowers. She absorbed and breathed in the scents and sights in her surroundings. Yes, this was the life. A nearby stream trickled along, accompanying the swish and sway of the trees in the wind. All nature, unaware of the joys in the 'music' it makes for the young woman resting in its warmth and serenity. Scarlette felt so extremely content here, she could purr. Of course, she was in her human form, so that wasn't possible. Yes, she was pretty sure she could stay this way for a long time, maybe forever.
But, forever is a long time, and it will have to wait. Food and the need for nourishment however, can not. As if to agree, Scarlette's stomach let out a fierce growl. She let out a laugh of irony and had to admit, besides her now hunger, she was fairly content.
She sat up and placed her hands on the ground behind her, and tilted her head back. She closed her eyes as the sun caught her face and gave her the kiss of warmth. She sat like this for a few more moments, enjoying it while she could, before her stomach reminded her again of why she was here. When in her animal form earlier in the day, Scarlette had spotted a herd of gazelles and followed them as a human so they would not be as afraid of her. She followed till they stopped and since she was not hungry at that exact time, she wandered off to explore the forest and meadows nearby. After a little exploration, she stumbled upon this paradise.
Scarlette jumped up finally and at the same time, shifted into her animal. All paws hit the ground running.
The constant, rythmic pounding of her paws to the ground, had a way of making her feel more powerful. She loved the feeling of the wind through her fur and world rushing by from the spped she was running. It was like a shot od adrenaline coursing through her body, intensifying the harder and faster she ran. Yes, she enjoyed to run. It is after all, the cheetah's best attribute.
One whiff of the gazelles and Scarlette's hunting senses took over. She didn't enjoy the hunt and would much rather eat human food, but considering she does not visit the villages often and she has little to no money, she has to make do with what she has. She had caught the herd off guard as she burst through the last of the bushes. A few more bounds, a leap, and teeth sunk into flesh for an instant kill. Dinner has been served.
Scarlette hated seeing innocent animals suffer or squirm, so when she hunted, she always made sure the first attack ended the prey's life quickly and hopefully painless. She wished at these times that life did not revolve around the strong preying on the weak and that they had to eat one another in order to survive. Her human heart sympathized with all those at the bottom of the food chain. It was really no fair to them.
Scarlette ate quickly until full and left the half-eaten corpse for a more unfortunate animal to finish off. She wouldn't be possessive. Especially if it meant she could save another animal's life. Scarlette did however, scamper off quickly, seeing as how those who might come to finish off the meal might not want her around to thank. She opted for her wildflower paradise and began sniffing it out with her nose. Upon arriving, she stretched once in the middle of the meadow, looked around, and made her way to the edge of sunlight where the meadow met the forest like two perfectly fitted puzzle pieces. Being too far out in the open was dangerouse seeing as how Scarlette was also not at the top of the food chain. Could usually never be too carefull. She walked in a tight circle, patting down the grass to make a comfortable bed. A cat nap sounded nice right about now with a full stomach. She lay down and curled into a tight ball, but kept one eye open. She had to admit, she'd rather be the hunter than the prey.

Finding it hard to frown for more than a few minutes, especially to a girl who had helped him, he smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "I'm Tyren. Tyren Endrias." He informed her, taking a small mock bow. His mother had frequently scolded him for being suspicious of strangers who helped him. Even he found it stupid, but he usually got over it quickly. "Sorry Miss, it was my fault entirely. Allergies." He offered a small shrug, looking up at her the sweetest, most innocent look he could manage. "Forgive me?" He asked, unable to keep the playful twinkle from his eyes.

Forest giggled a bit at his inocent look, "Of course, and nice to meet you," she snickered out. She stopped and sighed happily, "cute facem" she said with a teasing tone, refering to his inocent look. She unconciously crossed her arms behind her back, they always seemed to go into that position.
