"This is for Selene.." Rein murmured, defiantly. His voice was shaking, and his flints were in his h ands. "Why did you kill her?" His voice dropped into a whisper. "She was on your side." Rein for the first time, bared his teeth in anger, planning possible strategies.

River glared back at Rein. "she was weak." He said. "Selene wouldn't have made it to the end of the games."

[Hound 2]

"So you decided to kill her?
Rein's voice was filled with venom. He ran at River, aiming for a stab at his shoulder.

River moved aside so he was out of Rein's range. "She would've died anyway Rein."

Chad nodded back. He looked at Ali. "Would you lead the group with me? I mean, you don't have to, but...uh...no one seems to want to lead the group." He stammered out in a low voice.

"Doing that, you would've died too." Rein's voice was hoarse, his heart thumping. "Fight me!" Rein went for another dive again, trying to pin River down on the ground with his bare hands.
