'Whatever.' Daraii said. 'I don't want to talk about it.' She sighs when she walks in the direction Ashlynn disappeared. 'Maybe I'll see you.' She said. She spreaded her wings and flew away.

"Kay, see ya later." Dayla said happily and she too spread her wings and flew away. She flew as high as possible and raced the wind through the clouds. When she was sure no one was there to hear her she sang a single high note. It wasn't long till she heard a different wingbeat then hers. Out of the biggest cloud came a beautiful bird, it was a hawk. He was nearly completely black with the edge of his wings and tail white. He had heard her call and came to race. She smiled, hawk racing was one of her favorite things to do and this was a fast one. She completely spread out her wings to be able to turn and dodge as fast as possible. "Race me?" she heard the hawks voice in her head. "Of course." she answered before she flew away at full speed.

Daraii flew away, searching for Ashlynn again. She saw the arrow coming but she couldn't dodge him anymore. It hitted her wing, and she crashed.

Dayla heard the crash but didn't pay attention to it, instead she followed the hawk away from the sound.

Daraii crashed down on a large rock, with her head down. She was unconscious. There was a large wound on her head and her wing was injured badly.

(have you guys seen 'Katherine and William'?? OMG i want to marry that way too!!! XD)

Suddenly the hawk braked and flew back, Dayla could see the fear in its eyes. the next moment an arrow pierced through the clouds in the place where the hawk had been only seconds ago. Dayla screamed and followed the hawk in the opposite direction. More arrows were shot through the clouds. Dayla could barely avoid them. the hawk had less luck, an arrow went through its wing. It started to fall but Dayla picked it up carrying it with her flying higher and higher to avoid the arrows until she was as high as she was allowed to go. In an opening in the clouds she saw Daraii lying on the ground, hit by an arrow and unconscious. She let herself fall to go to Daraii, but as soon as she flew lower the arrows started shooting again. She couldn't go to Daraii and had to see how some humans came and picked Daraii up and brought her away, into a car. Then the gap in the clouds closed and she couldn't see any more where they were bringing her to. Tears washed down her cheecks, it felt like she had lost a good friend forever.
