Marie sighed then looked at her hands then stood and closed the door and walked back over to the bed and sat down. "Liz used ot be Damon's fiancee.. Her name was Isabel.. he called her Liz because she loved reptiles.. She was mortal.. And the first one he had ever tried turned.. He was in love with her and one day she was working at the zoo in the reptile place and was bitten by a snake.. Damon tried to save her by getting the poison out but it was to late... When he tried to turn her, as his last resort... He was to late.. He blamed himself because he was in the room when she was bitten.. Don't let Damon know you know.. He would not be happy with me for telling you.." Marie aid looking at her. "She looked alot like you.. That is probably what drove him to bring you here.. He may not be happy about letting you go but he will.. The funny thing is she died maybe 20 years ago and he still forbids anyone in the manor to talk about her..." She looked at Annabel and said "Don't worry.. You did nothing wrong tonight.. Ask Damon why he keeps you here and he may tell you why.." She stood to leave and gave a small smile then left.

She frowned. How sad. She sighed and got up. She wanted to ask Damon about it. She then stopped and Thought. She did want to know more but she didn't want to pry. She also wanted to know why he kept her here so she went to his room and knocked on the door.

Damon opened the door and asked "Yes?" He leaned in his doorway lazily. He was careful not to look into her eyes, as always.

She bit her lip and smiled at him lightly. "Why do you keep me here?" she asked.

Damon looked at her and said "You remind me of someone.. and I can't have you running around blabbing about me.."

She frowned. "You can't just keep someone because they look like someone, I understand the other part but keeping me here because I remind you of someone makes no since," she said.

"Its mainly the blabbing part, I don't trust you.. Not yet anyway. The other part just makes me wonder why you look like her.. Any other questions?"Damon snapped.

She was sick of this place. She went to her room and opened the window. She jumped out and ran.
