So if Satan is Lucifer's son, what makes you think that killing either one of them is going to be easy? Tru asked the Ancient Ones as they pushed open the grand doors to the Throne Room. She honestly had no idea where the Ancient Ones were taking her body. I mean, just because they're supposedly all big and bad doesn't mean that they don't care about each other.
And we suppose that you're a perfect example of that... The Ancient Ones snickered. Lucifer's only true daugh-
And you're done. Tru snapped. There are still people listening in. She could feel Nikkou in the back of her mind. Why didn't you kill Jais?
Because it isn't his time yet.
Oh and all of a sudden time is important to you!? She cut them off before they could argue. Look, you think I like just hanging out and riding around in my head while you four mutilate my body and twist it so you feel more comfortable? I hate this alright! And if I ever survive this, you four better watch your fu-
She screamed on the inside but on the outside, she was the picture of a stereo-typical anti-emotional demonic being. She was writhing in pain in her own mind while her mutilated and transformed body walked forward with a dead panned face and steady steps. She hated this...with a burning passion that could match the fires of Hell. She hated being used...she hated being lied to...she hated seeing her friends hurt...she hated seeing them tortured...and she hated the fact that she was going to die, and there was nothing that anyone could do about it.
So, wouldn't it be easier if she just gave up? There was nothing stopping her from just dying. The Ancient Ones had control of her body and spirit anyway. So technically she was no use to them now. Which made her wonder...why the hell were they letting her stick around for so long?
Because Tru, They said, their voices booming in her mind. Without you, we are powerless. If you would take the time and remember the oldest lesson, you'd realize this. Possession is not possible without the vessel's consent. And if we remember correctly, you were all too willing to give your consent. Said something along the lines of 'use my body as you please, just be sure to kill as many a**holes as you can get your hands on'.
I don't know what you're talking about, Tru growled stubbornly. I don't remember that.
Of course not, The Ancient Ones said in a tone that really said 'you're just a little kid to us so we're gonna treat you like one'.
The Throne Room was empty, bodies of her fellow demons sprawled out before Tru's eyes. Satan was no where to be seen. A figure, tall and thin with hair so blond it looked gold down to their knees, stood in a doorway off to the side. Their back was turned to Tru/The Ancient Ones.
"Hello Lucifer." The Ancient Ones/Tru hissed.
"Belial...?" Lucifer asked, his back still to them. "Cain...Legion...Nero...what are you four doing with this poor girl? She must be suffering awfully."
Tru felt another twitch in her mind, this one undetected by The Ancient Ones.
"She is our sister, we will do with her whatever we please." The Ancient Ones growled.
"No," Lucifer snarled, turning to face them. Tru gasped. His hair was in fact gold, with bangs that curled around his all black eyes. His face was hidden by shadows that seemed to come from nowhere and yet his black eyes were visible, a thin line of white around them; a glowing light. "You will let her go!"
"Yes father."
