Another year, and summer's finally rolled around. Before you go on anticipating your up and coming senior year in highschool, you've got some living to do; memories to be made. Only this summer is going to be a bit different, as you'll soon find out, your parents have oh-so-graciously[more like oh-so-strangely] arranged for you to spend the next three months in Hawaii. No friends, no relatives, just you. Yourself, along with five other individuals of around the same age, whom you've ever met, will be residing in a private beach house located on a gorgeous, remote beach.

What you're utterly and completely unaware of is the fact that this is all product of years of tedious planning. By yours, and the families of the nine other teens you'll be staying with. Arranged marriage. . .or "arranged relationship", might be a better term to use in this situation. Each of the teenagers staying in the beach house have another person they're designated to be with. Only problem is actually finding that person; and worse, trying to get along with them...not all of these relationships were built to run smoothly.

ρєяѕσиαℓιту » The first word that comes to mind when describing Isabelle is shy; painfully shy, infact. She's that girl who just sinks into the background and goes unnoticed.. it's not necessarily what she prefers, more as it is just how it happens. The Isabelle the world knows and the Isabelle her friends know are two polar opposites. At school, there isn't a moment she isn't hidden behind her notebook, adding intricate details to one of her sketches or poems; her iPod drowning out the rest of the world. At home, she transforms back into her bubbly self; able to let her outrageous, artistic-self shine. The one thing in the world she hopes for is a guy to actually sit down and take the time to pick through her thick, self-conscious shell; someone willing to love her for her..flaws and all.
нιѕтσяу » Isabelle's misfortunes started young..not to say she didn't bring some on herself; and definitely not to say she hasn't had a good life..she's just hit a few obstacles along the way. When she was six, her single mother was murdered by a possessive ex-boyfriend. Isabelle was there, tucked safely in the closet; her young, innocent, mind absorbing the horrific image. And given nothing as much as an explanation she was, only two days after the funeral, abruptly sent to live with her drunken father who had never as much bothered to meet his daughter before then; and he certainly didn't want anything to do with her now.

Fast-forward a few years and Isabelle left home at the young age of sixteen. An aspiring musician, desperate to get her band on their feet; she moved a few states over to be closer to her band-mates. It worked out, and they were quick to find a record company willing to sign them and help to schedule shows with big-name bands; getting their little hometown band on the map. They toured together for a little under a year, but she quickly realized life on the road wasn't for her.. she needed some form of consistency. So she dropped out; now she's back home, hoping to make amends with the only family she has left.
