"Well, Markus told me to not go near you or Shawn again. But, I'd love too, if it wasn't for Markus" he said, then explaining everything that had just happened to Lexi.

Lexi was silent for a moment before she softly spoke up again, "He won't take his anger out on you, trust me. He'll take it out on me, and I don't want Shawn to see that, so can you just please take him? I'll just send him over so you won't have to get him. Just stand close by so he knows where to go."

"Where would you like me to stand?" Derek asked quietly.

[saige.]

"Just anywhere. As long as he'll be able to see you. And I'm only sending him with his favorite stuffed dinosaur, so you'll have to worry about food some other time. He'll tell you what he wants." Lexi hurriedly whispered and looked over at Shawn, "Sweetie, you're going to spend some time with Daddy." she said and went back to talking to Derek, "Got that?"

"Okay, I'll be at the end of the block" Derek said, heading over to the end of the block, having a hood up to hide himself from Markus.

Lexi nodded, hung up, tossed the phone on the bed, and handed Shawn his stuffed dinosaur, "Now, I'll call you when it's time for you to come home." she said and kissed the top of his head. Shawn gave his mother a puzzled look, "What's wrong, Mommy?" he asked in a worried tone. But Lexi shook her head, "Nothing, it's okay. You're just going to spend time with your Daddy." and she picked him up and walked out the back door then out the side door from the fence. With one last kiss, she sent him off to go find Derek before walking back inside.

Derek smiled, seeing Shawn walk down the block, waving a bit. Smiling as the boy ran into his arms, Derek picked him up and headed home with him, wanting to spend time with his son.

Taylor smiled as they put the boat in the water, she smiled, getting into it, feeling like the good old times again.

Shawn grasped his stuffed dinosaur as he looked at his dad, "Daddy, what's wrong with Mommy?" he asked.

Parker smiled and looked over at Taylor, "Just like before, huh?"

"I'm not sure. I didn't think anything was wrong with her when I talked to her on the phone. Why do you ask?" Derek asked, looking to his son curiously.

Taylor smiled, hearing Parker talk. "Yeah, just like before." she said with a smile, remembering how they used to pretend to propose to eachother on the boat.
