Taylor smiled. "That's what happens when you haven't seen him in so long" she said with a large smile.

Derek smiled, holding the kid, looking into his eyes. "Hi Shawn, I'm your daddy"

Parker chuckled and looked over at Taylor, "I'm guessing that he wasn't the only one who missed me." he teased and playfully nudged her shoulder.

Shawn stared at Derek, still keeping quiet around him. Lexi giggled, "Sorry, he's a bit shy." she said and walked over to playfully ruffle her son's hair, "Right, Sweetie?" Shawn giggled and grinned at his mother.

"Yeah, I've missed you tons. I still have the boat out back" she said with a smile, referring to the boat they would always keep at the dock and go sailing on.

"That's alright" Derek said with a smile, watching Shawn with his mother.

"You still have that old thing? Man, Taylor, good times we had on that boat. Good times in deed." Parker said and leaned back on the couch.

Lexi smiled and leaned closer to whisper something to Shawn. Shawn looked back at her, "Okay, Mommy!" he grinned and looked back at Derek, "I missed you, Daddy!" and he wrapped his small arms around him.

"Yes, very good times" she said with a smile, remembering all of them. "And yes, I do have it."

Derek smiled, hugging him lightly. "I've missed you too buddy" he said with a smile. Feeling his son's arms wrap around him.

Parker smiled and locked his hands together behind his head, "Man...does my baby still run good?" he asked, referring to the boat.

Shawn giggled lightly, "Daddy, why were you gone so long?" he asked. Lexi's smile soon faded and she looked up at Derek, "Yeah, Derek, why were you gone so long?" she asked, repeating Shawn's words.

"Yeah, I start her up every week to make sure she still runs" she said with a smile.

Derek sighed, "Daddy's boss made him work even longer than he thought" he said truthfully he had been made to work another two years.

Parker smiled and closed his eyes, "Good. My poor baby...I didn't know if she would be running anymore."

Shawn and Lexi both frowned, "I'm sorry.." Lexi murmured and stood beside Derek and their son.

"Yeah, wanna go see her?" she asked with a smile.

"Atleast I'm home now" he said with a large smiled.

Parker smiled and leapt up, "You bet!" he exclaimed and began to march towards the back.

But Lexi's frown stayed there, "Derek, you can't stay here. You have to go and live with your parents. I'm married, remember?" and she took Shawn back in her arms.
