Ah, so she didn't want to do soul resonance, well it was her decision after all. He could see Alba's sense of pride shining in her violet eyes, and the way she slashed at the witch. That didn't matter though, they could still win this, they didn't need anything to boost their power, they could do it on their own. "Alright, we won't do it then." he replied to her acceptingly. Oh, now the witch was attacking them and they were blocking it, or at least trying to for that matter. The witch was crazy powerful but he and Alba would prevail, no matter what this mission threw at them, they didn't need resonance. Now the witch had breached their line of defense in a fast flurry, swiping at Alba's face, and somehow, Alba caught her hand right before it slashed her face, giving the witch a swift knee to the stomach. They had her now... or not. Gees she moved fast, so fast you could hardly even see her. The witch was chanting something, a spell perhaps? Yes, that was what it was, he knew it the moment it struck Alba's side, leaving her stumbling. "Alba, are you alright?" he asked, concerned. Then hearing Alba's next words he grew serious. Now the witch was going to die. So Alba had decided to use soul resonance. At that moment he felt Alba's soul find his and they matched wavelengths, thus starting the resonance. Her soul... if felt, weird. As if there were, gaps, or depressions of some sort in her soul. He had no idea what they were and dismissed it as just being different because he had never done soul resonance before. Now it was time to get this show on the road, he could feel the power from their two souls resonating, deep with in his soul and his blade began glowing brightly, changing shape, until it solidified as a great, spiraling blade, still faintly glowing grey around the edges.

Kuro,Shiro, and Silver made quick work of their enemies and felt the surge of Nain-na and Lenna's soul resonance but un aware to any of them another Hunter crept out of know where and held a poison filled dagger nead Silver's neck.

Silver's eyes widen when she felt the cold metal on her neck.

Shiro and Kuro had panic stricken on their faces. "Silver!"

CR1: "Da's right! None a' you buggers make a move or deh lil girlie here gets a neck full o' poison an' metal..." The gruff bearded hunter spat out, taking a step back and in that pulling Silver back with him. Now he had the leverage in the situation. The tables were turned, or so would seem the case. Couldn't be too careful with these DWMA types...

Nain-na's grey eyes were gleaming with something that resembled pride as he looked at the Soul Resonance he and Lenna had created, the usual edginess in his posture suddenly easing away. T-they... had actually done it... they really had... His thought were interrupted by the sound of Shiro and Kuro yelling Silver's name, and the young teen instantly whipped his head around to see what the commotion was about. As he processed the situation, he was almost tempted to step forward,but stayed fixed in place feeling just as powerless as he had in the beginning. He'd finally manged to do Soul Resonance with Lenna, but in his situation... it was completely useless! "S-silver!" He called rather feebily, his hands shaking lightly from a mixture of sudden fear for his friend and a strong wave of... frustration. Silver was the first friend he'd actually ever had, and he wasn't about to allow some lowly hunter to rag her about as hostage. He found himself once again looking to Lenna for help... it was the beginning of a bad habit. "L-lenna, what do we do? If w-we attack, then Silver could be..." His voice trailed of, and his grip tightened on the hilt of his sword. He didn't know how long him and Lenna could hold out, but hopefully it would be enough to save Silver...

Gracia gripped Tsuki lightly by the hilt, a smug grin crawling it's way across her lips. "You're heavier that you look" She teased the sword light-heartedly, spinning Tsuki clockwise using her left hand. "But you look strong enough..." She cracked a genuine grin, and slashed the weapon diagonally at a tree with great force. She would have tried Soul Resonance if she'd know Tsuki a little better, but even Gracia didn't think the pair were ready for that just yet... She couldn't even wield Tsuki properly yet... She slashed at the tree again, her stroke smoothing out a little.

Deseme's reflection grinned full heartedly up at Gold*Star, her large elm eyes clouded with exhilaration. "Yeah!" The energetic girl gave one Swift nod, her expression looking only the slightest bit serious as she prepared for Gold*Star to say the words to give her the forward momentum. She'd been saving her Soul Resonance to last, to really blow away their competition. She began to mentally count down, her smile only growing wider...3...2...1
