Aaron rolled his eyes. Like she had to act so surprised. It was rather embarrassing for him. "Yes yes, of course I was. What would make you think otherwise?" He wondered, keeping his gaze fixed on her even as she looked away. Soon she turned back though, thanking him. A small smile formed. "You're very welcome," He responded easily, letting his coat fall back to where it was. It was like he used it as a way to withdraw from a situation, protecting him almost.

Sally raised a brow, but also smiled. "Really, is that all?" She asked, laughing a bit in her words, a bit surprised that she was drawn from the group just to be thanked for being a doctor. She waved it off, saying, "There's no need to thank me, its just what I do. But I'm happy to be able to help." Sally was like the medic of these rookie meisters, being among them though having more skill in support rather than combat. It fit her personality though. She didn't prefer destroying or killing anything, rather, she wanted to examine it all for a greater knowledge. Irrelevant, she thought that there had to be a little more to why Shiki had called her over.

Alba kept a glare fixated on the witch as she snatched the scythe from the air, twirling it deftly before halting it by her side, a blast of wind following it swirling up the dust about them. Without anything else needing to be said, she rushed out of the miniature cloud and towards the pillar. The witch atop it just inspected her nails, giving them an idle glance and humming a short laugh to herself, even as Alba reached the stone. She ran past to its side, then swung even as she kept moving, showing quite a bit of strength as the blade crashed through the pillar, rupturing the structure. Randomly sized blocks and chunks rained about, and the witch, seemingly anticipating their moves, had stood, flipping off of one of the falling debris. Alba, having expected this, was already at the spot and dragged her scythe into the air. With another spiteful giggle, the woman landed on the blade of the scythe with her hand, stopping it before pushing off to land quite a ways off. "Is that all?" She wondered, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Alba growled under her breath and charged again, twirling the scythe into greatly forceful yet flowing swings, dodged mostly. She finally caught the witch in a crouch, and swung downward, only to have the blade caught by strange, thin clawed gauntlets. Now understanding most of the witch's physical prowess, Alba kept on, using Veiz masterfully in her attacks. 'Something has to change... Something has to give!' She thought, just knowing she could spot a weakness at some point.
