"How can you not care... I could have..." Bryn looked in his eyes when she felt his hand in her hair.

''you could have?'' Darren said quietly, tilting his head

"I could have lost you. And what kind of world would be left without you?" Bryn was embarrassed as she got up and ran to the bathroom, closing the door and sliding down it.

Bryn curled up tightly, hoping that Darren wouldn't come in. But new her luck would run out with him. She stared up at the ceiling, whispering, "I'm so sorry Darren... So sorry."

Darren curled up on the sofa, thinking about what she had just said. He sighed deeply and closed his eyes, wondering if she felt for him...the way he felt for her.

Bryn opened her eyes. She wiped her eyes and opened the door, heading over to him. "Darren...?"

Darren opened one eye and looked up, smiling brightly at her as he sat up.

Bryn smiled softly, looking at him and sitting beside him.

Darren put his arms round her and smiled happily
