Darren soon let go of her wrist. He groaned in pain and coughed, curling up against bryn

Bryn held him close, feeling tears fall. "You ok...?"

''i...i think so'' Darren said quietly, looking up at her

Bryn looked down at him, gently stroking his face. "I'm so sorry..."

''don't be sorry'' Darren whispered as he struggled to sit up, gently kissing her

Bryn kissed him softly, feeling the tears fall. She held him up and propped him against her, having a slight revelation. "You're taller than me."

Darren nodded ''yeah'' he said softly, looking at her with a small smile

Bryn gave a small smile and looked up when the door creaked open. She only had enough energy to come in front of Darren protectively.

The official was stunned.

Bryn watched them. She was still a bit weak from feeding Darren. This was all show. She wouldn't have any energy to fight.

The official whispered, "Get the cuffs."
"For which one?"
"The Vampire." He hit the guard upside the head as he ran to find the cuffs.
