She was thinking about what would happen to her when she would be sold. Would the family be nice, or would they be cruel and harsh, or maybe in between. The thought of being sold to a bad person made her shiver softly.

I'm Joe."She looked around for a second and spotted a young boy,about her age,in the crowd.He didn't look like he was enjoing himself very much.He looked kinda sad.then she looked back at the girl who had talked to her.She found a stick on the ground and tapped it for a little bit.Then she looked at all the people in the crowd.Please,please,please let me get a nice slave owner.

James shifted his wieght nervously from foot to foot, watching the Slave Trader stand on top of the slave stage, rambling off the rules of auctioning, and how to do it. "Listen carefully, boy." The snarling words of his father entered his concious, and he flinched visably at the sound of his father's voice. "Y-Yes sir." He mumbled back, his eyes falling to the floor. He didn't want to be here...

Kendra knew the time of being sold off was approaching. There was a group of slaves, mostly kids, who were huddled in the celler, dubbed as the slave shack. When their group was going to be sold off, a man brandishing a club would come in, tie up the slaves, and usher them into a line so they could step onto the slave stage, one by one, and be sold off. She glanced around, her beautiful green eyes darting to each face. She hoped that one of them would come with her to her new home. She shivered in the cold, her thin arms wrapping around her body, trying to keep warm.

Seth shoved back, teeth bared viciously as the men pushed him roughly along. He had been here for only two days and had already caused a great deal of trouble, especially with the younger hands, young boys like himself, working on ships and fields. His hands had been tied firmly, tightly behind him. They came to a door and a man opened it, while two others seized both of Seth's arms, throwing him hard inside. The door slammed shut and seth crashed hard to the ground with a yell of pain as the wind was knocked from him and he landed hard on his stomach and face. The boy gasped, getting to his knees, slumped over. His clothes were torn and ragged, blood trickling from his mouth. He pulled hard at the ropes that tightly bound his arms behind him, unable to even slightly move his wrists. finally he gave up and stood, stumbling and slamming his shoulder hard into the wooden wall with a loud yell of contemp. a furious terrifying voice. he slumped back down to sit, his back to the wall, his head bowed, listening to laughter from outside.

Kendra's eyes widened as a boy, who looked her age, was litterally thrown to the floor in the Slave Shack. She inched forwards, noticing the blood tirckling out of his mouth. "A-Are you okay." She whispered, terror flashing in her gaze. Her expression was clear, submissive, and sad, full of pain and longing for freedom. He was new to the group, as far as she could tell.

Saw a girl walk over to a boy who had neem shoved down on the floor. She wanted to go help to but her hands were tied and she feared if she tried to move something bad would happen so she put her head down and closed her eyes.

Seth looked up sharply, just now noticing the others, his eyes wild and furious. Though slight defeat and pain showed there."Da** it...."he growled, spitting out another mouth full of blood and struggling to his feet again, his hands still tied."No. Im not...."he growled, eyeing the door dangerously. he remembered his brother's death vividly.... it still choked him with grief and made him seeth with anger as well."Let me out..."he growled so low it would be hard for someone to hear even if they were inches from him."Let me out!" Seth threw his body hard against the door, making it shake and shatter, his eyes blazing. he fell back and hit it again and again, letting out a loud yell of hatred and falling back to the ground, panting. the laughter continued. enraged by this he hit the door with his shoulder so hard it shook violently. a shouting came from outside and the door opened. Seth stood panting, seeing a man with discustingly grizzled features glare down at him, a club in his hand. Before seth could move he felt the heavy blow meet his head, another hard one to his side. Purple pain shot through him and he gasped, falling back against the wood flooring. the man shouted at him but he couldnt make out the words, and shut the door with a loud bang. The boy lay there in crippled, dizzy defeat, fighting to keep back his tears. he had only acted in such a way, because they had killed his older brother in front of him...for no reason...

She looked a bit scared for the boy as he laid on the ground. Aisling struggled against her bindings to try to help but she could not get out. She put her head down again.

Kendra drew back away from Seth's fury, her eyes full of concern. "Shh...it's okay." She whispered, moving forwards boldly. This boy, she could tell, had been through pain and suffering, just as she had, and needed to be comforted. Or that was at least how she saw it. She touched his shoulder testily, leaning forwards to look at his crumbled form, bloody and broken. Looking at his injuries made a shocking thought flash through her mind. No one will want a bloody, broken, and rebellious slave. He would be hung if no one bought him....

Seth looked at the gentle girl from the corner of his eye, not moving his aching head as he lay there, his breathing ragged.Some how, her voice seemed to calm him a little but the pain was still there...his heart ached so much more than his head and side...so much more.... he slumped down completely, listening to her calm gentle voice, his mouth still slightly open and he took in air.he didnt know what to say. didnt know what he could say....he continued to look at her without turning his head.
