( Okay. Also! Everyone will start off at the Slave market. M'kay? Then they'll be bought, in groups, and sold off to farms/plantations. )
James sighed, trying hard to keep up with his father as they weaved in and out of the crowd. It was market day, of course, as it was almost every day, besides Sunday, but today it was the Slave Market, which was at the middle of the market square. His father had planned on buying 3 to 6 different slaves from Frescia, and had decided to drag his son along to learn how to pick out the best people. It made James sick, to think that men would crowd around the plateform while children, and young adults around his age were hauled up onto the wooden stage, and had people survay them like a livestock, or cattle. He frowned, stumbling into a heavy set man in front of him. The now angered slave buyer turned, yelled choice words in James' face, and eagerly faced the large wooden slave stage as the Slave Market began, forgetting the incedint as quickly as it had started at the thought of being able to buy and see the slaves. His father reached out, snatched his wrist, and hauled him through the crowd forceably until they were standing in the front row.
( Fail. D: )
Kendra whimpered softly, her large green eyes wide as she heard the booming, loud talking voice of the Slave Trader. This was her third day of sitting in the hut like celler, much like a prision, next to the Slave stage. Today, it was her, and a lot of other slaves day to be sold off, and sent to work for the rest of their lives. She prayed that she would be sold off to someone nice, unlike some of the stories she had heard. One of the most feared things that could happen to a child like her from Frescia, is to be sold off to one of the labs that had just been developed, where she would be dissected, to see if she had any powers. It would be terrifyingly agonizing, and she loathed the people of Dubonna even more at the thoughts.
