Ebony had long sinced learned never to panic in any situation, but her nerves were frayed. "We need help over here right now! There's a girl trapped under the bus and she needs an inhaler!" she cried, her voice cracking with emotion. She turned her eyes back to Daisy and smiled slightly, trying to be encouraging. "Saty with me now. Don't fall asleep. Stay awake. Help is coming and we'll get you to the hospital."
Tarrin woke and his leg seemed heavy. He didn't feel any pain, but his chest felt tight and he could not move his left arm or the right leg that had been operated on. His eyes wandered the room he was in before coming to focus on a tall man standing by the door looking at a clipboard. "Tarrin Clephelsky, age 17, a broken arm, several cracked ribs, shattered right leg, and suspected brain hemmhorraging. Hmm... Oh, and a broken nose as well." He glanced up at Tarrin who was now watching him with a curious look on his face, "You sure didn't come out of this very well did you?" The doctor sighed, "But, at least you are alive. Although this brain hemmhorraging could turn out to be a problem."
Tarrin wondered why the man was being so blunt with him, surely doctors were not suppoed to list off the worst things and then say what might just kill the patient. Knowing that his brain was hemmhorraging did not help calm his fearful heart that was now racing out of control, registered by a quick beeping beside him.
