Ali tied her skates tight. They were lime green converse style. She had gotten them custom made. Ali smiled and stood up on the thin blades. She glided out on to the freshly smoothed ice, enjoying the sensation. Ali began to practice her manuvers, triple lutz, one-foot glide, cross-overs. She smiled as she performed them perfectly. Going for the gold! Ali thought.

NIkki walked out to see a girl skating.

Ali, right in the middle of a jump spotted Nikki. "Ah!" she let out a little shriek. Ali still wasn't used to people watching her skate. She lost her footing and landed clumsily.

"Oops.I'll leave."Nikki said, running out.

ALi didn't want to have made Nikki leave. "No its fine- you just startled me." she called. Ali decided that she better eat something and took off her skates.

Nikki was already at the barn.

Ali grabbed her bag and walked back to the house.

"Well, I better get going to sleep. I have hockey tomorrow, and then after that I have a dressage competion." Reese said and then put the empty popcorn bowl on the counter.

Ali walked on into the large house. She quietly walked into the kitchen and pulled a cookie out of her stash.
