((Ok can continue... and no you are not. At least you post.. I am gonna GET Midnight! How about you make your character check into the inn and they can meet in the morning? It takes animals. And let's pretend they drove a few hours out of Nugget into a town called Clear Lake. It isn't in the desert, in the middle of Iowa (real place, like they started off in the woods in New Jersey), but it has snowed and it's freezing. Velor is still in Nugget, thinking they are there. Don't ask why. Just go with it.))
... waking the night employ for the Holiday Inn, Jaquel grabbed the room keys, a few sodas from a dingy-looking machine in the entrance, and a bag of popcorn that he found in the trash. Oh, well. At least he didn't mind, since he was a werewolf. Then he got the others who were waiting outside in the car he had borrowed from a guy at the town of Nugget, an old Honda truck painted a light shade of blue. It smelled of spilled coffee and had a scent pine dangling from the rearview mirror, though all it did was make the others sneeze. Ok, maybe he hadn't borrowed it, but it was an emergency. He lead he others upstairs one flight of steps (it was only two floors), and into room 380, which didn't make any sense since there was only about 50 rooms. The room had a joint door too room 379, and the vampires took it and divided the two double beds and armchairs. The werewolves took 380, and the humans came with them. Each room was equipped with a small bathroom with a shower, toliet, and sink, two double beds, two armchairs, a small TV with probably 5 channels, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a closet. Jaquel used the restroom, claimed one end of the bed closest to the door, and began eating the popcorn he popped in the microwave. Banjo took the spot in one of the armchairs, and Jaquel told Vivian and Violet to share the other bed, and if needed to to take the other armchair. He took out a laptop (also "borrowed" from some guy in Nugget) from his pack and signed in to it as a werewolf. He was taken to the werewolf internet, where he tried to track Velor. No use, but he could tell he was in Nugget. Jaquel had had Lily cast a minor spell of confusion on the town. He shut down and lay in bed, thinking of what tomorrow would bring.
Lily sleepily entered room 379 and showered her tiredness off. When she came out, the room felt steamy so she slipped into pajamas she had brought in her sack of clothing and supplies and handed out the extras to everyone else. The werewolves would be fine; they wore changers, that were actually quite comfy, she had heard. Then Lily crawled into bed with Remus, her brother, and listened to the clock tick. It was true vampires couldn't exactly "sleep", but they could drift off into a state where they are fully recharged, which is what happened on the 256 tick she counted, at 1:00 in the morning. She "slept" peacefully.
Remus was wide awake. He left the room when Lily got into the shower and went down to the entrance area where there was a little breakfast corner, with orange juice and waffles you made by putting the ready mix into the waffle-maker. He made himself a waffle, and ate it on the frozen front steps leading into the parking lot. He wasn't sure where he was; some little town. He would find out later. He thought he heard something once but realized it was the employ, sleeping again, and snoring. He resentfully went back upstairs where h found Lily was passing out pajamas, excepted a pair, told Erik to take on armchair, Roxy the other, and Vahn the other bed, and lay in his bed, pretending to be asleep. When he heard Lily's breathing even, he used to restroom and strolled the few halls, bloodthirsty. At one point h got tired and went back to bed.
