Jonathan smiled a bit at Piper, "I don't eat that much. I got a bun when I was talking with my doctor," he explained and drank a bit of his coffee. He then looked at the new girl, "hi, there," he said and smiled at her. He then looked down in his own coffee and put it down on the table, tapping it three times.

Maybe looked at the boy, then took out a pad of paper a cop had given her. "hello" she wrote unsure of how to act. She gave him a small, nervous smile. He seemed friendly.

Jonathan smiled, "I'm Jonathan. This is Piper and Luke. What's your name?" he asked, before his head jerked to the side a couple of times. His eyebrow twitched and he snapped his fingers. "Termometer!" he bursted. When the ticks went over, he cleared his throad, "sorry. Tourette's," he explained, a little embarassed.

"name's Maybe" Maybe wrote on the paper. She blinked at the Joanthan's outburst, but then just gave him a ressuring smile.

Jonathan smiled slightly in response to her smile. He then drank the rest of his coffee and sat it down directly in front of him again, tapping it three times against the table. He then looked back at Maybe again, "how long have you been here?"

" About 30 min." Maybe wrote nervously, tapping her fingers on the table.

"Want me to show you around some time, then? This place is pretty confusing if you're new," Jonathan offered and smiled at Maybe.

Luke kept quiet, chewing on her bottom lip, still humming. Her feet waved, sticking out from under the table, black painted toes wiggling. Her fingers thumped against the table, to a different beat than her hums. It was an interesting sound, the cross between the thumps and the humming, and it calmed Luke down, and kept the whispers quiet.
