"My mother," Azzy muttered as her mother stepped out from the trees. She looked just like Azzy, but older. "Whew!" she said, pushing her hair back from her face. "I never thought I would get here!" She walked over to Azlyn quickly, her wings just a little lighter than Azzy's in colour. "Azlyn, darling, so good to see you." She looked over to Bren. "And who is this?"

Bren avoided looking at Azzy's mother afraid she might slap him or something. he looked at Azzy and then charlotte.

Azzy rolled her eyes at Bren. "Azlyn, you did not tell me what an attractive young man you picked out for yourself!" her mother exclaimed, studying Bren.

bren looked at azzy's mother. It was true, she did look alot like Azzy. "im Bren..."

"Well, of course!" her mother said, her laugh tinkling around them. "And this must be Charlotte!" She lifted Charlotte out of Bren's arms.
"Mother, do you think you could be a little less, oh, I don't know, crazy?" Azzy asked, hysteria creeping into her voice. She knew that if her mother liked Charlotte too much, then she would take her away from them.

Bren wasn't quite sure what to make of this. He took azzy's hand and squeezed it lightly. he looked at Charlotte not wanting her to be taken away

( ugg I have 8 or 9 hours of being in the car before I get home from vacation!!! And its 8:30pm where I am)
