Shioreta’s eyes widened when she practically snarled at him. He was surprised even more when she hugged him after her rant. He sighed, he couldn’t argue with her if she said it would hurt her. He smiled softly when she pulled him into the house. He glanced around, almost awed by the room. He’d hadn’t been in a real house since, well ever.

Gabriel sighed at her reaction to her clothes being dirty. He ran a hand threw his dark hair, “Um do you want me to get you new clothes, so your parents don’t kill you.” He figured he had enough money to at least replace the things she had on if not a little more.

Maria looked up at the stranger, her eyes widening a bit at her offer. What? Was he serious? She crossed her arms, the mud on her jacket mixing, and she sighed softly. "Thank you, I apperciate that, but-" She suddenly stopped, looking past him at an older pair walking around, their eyes everywhere as they seemed to look for someone. She bit her lip and cursed under her breath, reconizing the pair as her parents. She looked back up at the stranger and said quietly and quickly,"All will be forgiven if you can help me out. Help me get out of here, and out of sight, and I'll...umm, well it'll be even." She looked up at him with pleading eyes, already starting to hide behind him as her parents started to get closer and closer.

Gabriel was slightly surprised at her request but after glancing behind him at what she was looking at he understood. He nodded and turned her around and pushed her a bit towards an ally.

Maria was hesitent when the stranger started pushing her towards an allyway, but just went with it and just hoped she was a good judge of character. She could hear her parents as they passed, they seemed to only be shouting,"Maria, Maria! Dear, we need you!" This made Maria feel bad for tricking her parents, and hiding from them with a strange boy, but she knew it was for the best. The look on her mother's face when clothes were soilded wasn't worth it. She pressed her back against the wall a bit mroe, but her eyes were on the man's, holding the look of fear and defense.

Gabriel sighed at her hesitation; of course any smart person would hesitate before going with some strange guy. He looked at her and was surprised by the look of fear in her eyes, “Calm down, I’m not a demon.” He sighed leaning against the wall, wondering if that was true

Maria ignored her parent's shouts, though it was difficult to do so, and kept her eyes on the stranger's. Her spine stiffened at the word demon, her eyes casting down and her body pressing against the wall a bit more. She'd never encountered a demon, she never wanted to. She'd heard terrible things about the creatures, just the word freaked her out. She said defensively,"Of course not...I'd know a demon if I saw one." She was clearly lying, she wouldn't know a demon from an angel. Looking up, her hazel eyes curious and still a bit afriad, she asked softly,"Are you an angel?"

Caught up in her blood lust, Tagg had completely ignored the other aproaching figure. The rock momentarily nocked her out of her reverie but then she simply crouched there among the trash, her eyes glazed and glowing red. Muscles spasming along her back, Tagg broke into a small grin that began to grow wider, displaying all of her now bloody pointed teeth. Her switchblade lay forgotten but it didn't look like she would need it. The air seemed to hum with the power that her body radiated, strengthened by the blood of the angel. If the other angel hadn't stopped her she would have drained the small female then and there.
God, she needed some more of it. Now there was two of them. Double the blood. Giggling quietly, Tagg sounded almost as if she was choking. Her laughter bubbled and frothed with the angel's blood, staining her lips a deep red. Tagg laughed harder, ignoring the other angel's words, if she even understood them. More beast than human at that point, waves of insanity and power rolled of off her in a thick aura, reflected by her glassy red eyes. Slowly, she got to her feet, beginning to advance. "Happy birthday to me, happy birt-" she sang softly under her breath, a small bubble of blood popping at the corner of her mouth. She licked the blood that trickled down her lip, never stopping her steady yet slow advance.

Gabriel sighed; he didn’t need to be supernatural to hear her lie. He looked over at her, “Yes I’m an angel.” He smiled softly, wondering if she’d only noticed that about him after he’d said the word demon or if she was one of the few humans who could sense that.

Maria's muscels relaxed as soon as her thoughts were comfirmed; this man was not a man, but an angel. Her eyes no longer showed fear, but rather they showed soft curiousity. She took a few steps forward, keeping eye-contact with the angel, and reached her hand out hesitently. She rested her finger-tips on his cheek bone for a moment, looking into those eyes, then realized her action and pulled her hand back. She blushed and looked down, saying quickly,"Sorry, sorry, I've...I've never met an angel before." Her hand went to the opposite side's elbow, hugging herself in a sort of shy way. She kept her eyes low as she said,"Can I know your name?"
