Alex stood up and reached for her bag. They were here. She stuffed the sweets into her robe pocket and grabbed her owl's cage. "We're here!" she said her eyes shining. Her robe was long and her ravenclaw tie was securley round her neck. "Come on, Ellie, you have to take the boats with the other first years" she said sliding the compartment door open and allowing the noise and baning from other compartments to fill theirs. "I'll show you where to go , if you like" she offered.

Fred climbed down onto the platform and stepped straight away into a carriage. Lexy and Ray where in it. "Hey, talking about thestrals then?" he asked. He smiled and put his trunk in between his legs.

"Oh!" Ellie stood up, excited. "Are we going to Hogwarts then? Yipee!" She picked up Chips' cage and her bag and followed Alex off the train, eager to go. Her eyes glistened with excitement.

Alex laughed at the young girls, excitement; she had felt like that when she first came, but she had had no one to help her and she had known noone. "Over here" she led the girl to the big group of first years. She led Ellie to the front where a big towering figure stood. "Hello Hagrid!" she grinned "'Ello, Alex, how was 'er 'olidays?" he asked bending his bearded head down to smiled "great, thanks, how's Buckbeak or sorry WitherWings?" Alex asked, Perry was chirping loudly and she had to raise her voice a bit. "'o! Es great! ben gettin' on juust fine!" he said and then clapped his hands "i best be gettin' on! see ya in the 'all!" he said and lifted his big lanter. "follow him, he's nice even if he is giant!" Alex said to Ellie "don't fall in! good luck, hope your sorting goes ok!" she yelled and ran off leaving Ellie next to Hagrid. "first years follow me!" she heard him say before she arrived next to a thestral. "hello" she whipsered and ran a hand down it's snout before climbing in. "Hey, Lexy, Ray, fred" she said sitting down next to Lexy.

Ellie obediently followed Hagrid across the ground to the lake. "Ev'ryone in th' boats!" he commanded, and they all got in. A boy and a girl got in after Ellie, and she smiled at them, determined to make a good impression. "Ok, let's go" she said, as the other boats left the shore. The boats began to move by themselves. Growing up with wizarding parents, she was used to this, but it still astounded her.

Tonks hopped of the train excitedly,Her hair morphing from a dark purple to a day glow ultraviolet. This was possibly her favorite part of the first day back to Hogwarts, the carriage ride. They used the open topped carriages tonight, seeing as it was such a lovely night. Tonks practically ran from the train to the first carriage she saw, or, the first Thestral she saw. Completely ignoring the students in the carriage, she ran to the front of it, petting the Thestral and talking to it. She probably looked insane to the younger students, seeing as most couldnt see the magnificent beasts. "Hello love." She cooed to the winged horse. It turned its head to her, looking at her through its large, pale eyes. They were kind of eerie, but Tonks loved them. Noticing that many had started to leave, she hopped into the carriage attached to the Thestral she was just petting, only now noticing the other students. "Oh! Hey guys!" She said, smiling brightly. She took a seat beside Lexy and her friend. "I dont think we've met! Im Claria, though everyone calls me Tonks, probably because if you do call me Claria, Ill make sure to rip your guts out during the next full moon!" She said, still very cheerful. She held out her hand to the boy, grinning from ear to ear.

Ray took the girls hand returning the grin. "So your the famous Tonks? What'd know bout Thestrals?" He asked not knowing what he had just opened up. He noticed Lexy rolling her eyes and him so he gave her a friendly bump. Wasn't his fault he loved learning about magical creatures and never got to see them.

Lexy was a little disappointed that her time alone with Ray was short lived but smiled anyways. She watched the carriage pull away from the station see saw Teddy Pink hair and waved as it became smaller and smaller. He was so strange being so wimpy and sensitive not like most guys. The first time she met him she insistently thought he was gay. Poor Teddy was so embarrassed when she asked that it didn't help his hair turning pink at the dinner table. Lexy let out a soft chuckle at the memory before tuning back into the conversation."So Alex how was your summer?" She asked her fellow Ravenclaw not having any time to catch up with other friends.Stupid,annoying Ray. She thought about how her whole summer she hadn't hung out with anyone but him.

"Everything you want to know!" Tonks said, eager to talk about her favorite subject, other than that cute boy in his 7th year, but she only talked about him to the other girls. "I guess you cant see them, but their giant, black, skeletal, bat-winged horses. They kinda feel leathery, but their mane is as soft as silk. And their eyes are big, and pale, and kinda glow if its really dark!" Tonks explained.

Teddy smiled and waved back to Lexy. He knew the only reason she was waving was to tell him to change his hair color. She though it made him look gay. What could he say? He wasnt gay, but the pink looked good on him. He shook his head and morphed his hair turquoise. She found it better than pink. After embarrassing herself, and him at the same time, asking if he was gay, she never liked his pink hair. He just kept it to annoy her.

"So kinda of like bony dragons?" He thought aloud.He never seen a mythical creature expect in books and couldn't wait for his Care of Magical Creatures class.Regaining his hunger he took out the chocolate frog and was about to tell them about the lady's strange warning when suddenly the little guy hoped on out. "Get it!" he shouted standing up trying to making a leap for it.He was inches from catching it but little the frog jumped out of the carriage and hopped merrily down the dirt road until it could not be seen anymore.Should have taken the crazy Trolley lady advice more seriously. he thought sitting back down.

Tonks snorted, trying to hold in a laugh. "Nice one!" She said, no longer able to keep a straight face. "And, kind of... but its a horse. Yah know?" She explained again. "And here," She said, reaching into her bag and pulling out a small blue, pentagon shaped box. "You can have mine, I have a few." She handed him the box with the chocolate frog. "Its a shame yours got away, they really only have one good hop in 'em! But its the card you really want! Who'd you get?" She asked, leaning over, trying to snatch the card from him.
