"Poor baby." Holly said. "Smidge is useless sometimes too. he's blind in one eye." Artemis said squeezing his cat.

Wings smiled and said "I got everything but the tail and one leg. So It's way off balance, heh. I should be done before the moon finishs eating at the feast." She winked at Tonks and then laughed. "Well be together when the moons done. I'll be done and you won't be alone."

Alex ran through the barrier and smiled as she stepped onto platform 9 3/4. Her owl screeched at the smoke and people all around and Alex laughed pushing the metal trolley through the smoke to the Hogwarts Express. She got her stuff off the trolley and put it through an open door and grabbed the cage with her owl in. Stepping on after pushing the trolley away she picked up her suitcase and hold-all and started down the corridor looking for an empty compartment. Finding one eventually she put her stuff on the rack above the seats and sat down next to the window putting Perry beside her. She looked out resting her chin on her hand and smiled at all the parents waving goodbye to their children. Sh had persudaded her parents not to come on to the platform, seeing as they weren't wizards. She sighed a bit sadly and stuck her head into the corridor looking for anyone she might know.

Fred kissed his mum on the cheek, hugged his dad, ruffled his brothers hair and swung his sister round smiling. "wont be long before you two are at Hogwarts?Eh?" he asked picking up his bags. His mum sobbed into a tissue as he turned and stepped onto the train, walking along the corridor he found an empty compartment and put his stuff on the rack above the seat. Sticking his head out of the window he smiled down at his family who had followed his progress up the corridor. "Pass Gingy up will you?" he asked and his younger brother picked up a woven basket from the ground with a lid and passed it through the window. "thanks Will" Fred said and smiled at his parents, brother and sister as they stepped back from the train in case it started suddenly. "write regulary!" his mum called "dont forget that homework is first priority!" his father said putting his arm round his wife. Fred rolled his eyes as he sat dowm and smoke enfulged his family.

"Thats kind of like Tonks' owl, Arnel! He doesnt fly well, but I think its just because he's lazy." Teddy laughed. He really didnt like that owl. It always bit him. "Crumb here usually delivers mail, he's a pretty good flier, despite his size!" He told Timi, taking the pygmy owl out of his tiny cage and holding him cupped in his hands, his small head poking out from under Teddy's thumb. "He's dead useful, but dumber than a Flobberworm." Teddy said, rolling his eyes. "And he's not the manliest owl a guy could have either. Id rather have something majestic, or at least bigger." He mumbled.

"aww, he's adorale." said timina scratching the owls head. "you should be proud of him. He must feel like such a big strong owl when carrying your letters. Besides, all owls are different. The big ones can be real brutes! That's why I got a little owl, well actually I got a little owl cuz my dad didn't want to give me any of his good fliers" timina said with a laugh. "but I'm still appreciative of him. Just be happy you have something, think of the kids who don't have a little animal to have an undying relationship with. If ya ask me, animals are more loyal of friends sometimes than people."

"Yeah my owl's quite cocky" Ray smirked."Thinks shes a queen or some kind of royalty but i can talk to her easier and tell her my secrets." Knowing that Timina was right about animals being more trustworthy."I think her name fits her.Opal meaning precious or something like that." He said trying to remember where her read that. One thing was for sure he wasn't going to be a Ravenclaw. How was Lexy a Ravenclaw he would never understand. From what he knew about her she was definitely a Slytherin. No doubt about it. The sorting hat must have had some sort of mix-up .

Lexy came back to earth when she heard Ray mention something about secrets. What sort of secrets and did she know them? They told each other almost everything. She started to wish she had been paying more attention instead of daydreaming.
