Joy yawned a quick brief yawn. She looked at him, rolling her eyes, if he was serious about actually having her talk about her own life he would have to spill some of his beans too. This was somewhat new for Joy's attitude though. Normally being loud and obnoxious, not just quiet and secluded. It was probably the anxiety of the games kicking in.

Devon turned a corner, thoughts jumbling up in his head. His anger towards the games had started to wear off, but he was still pretty upset at them. What kind of sick government did this? Was the government always this mean? It sickened him to think about the government, and he knew one day, maybe not in his life time, the people would fight back. He looked back at Joy, and relized how much he didn't know her. Yeah, he had seen her around school, sometimes at the square but that was it. It made him feel a little bad, mostly because she would most likely be dieing with him. No one from 12 really ever won.
