Paxton eyed the girl for a moment. "Fine." he said, his arms falling to his side and he slid his hands into his pockets. When she spoke again, he smiled gently - allowing his midnight blue eyes to sparkle slightly. "I'm Paxton.. It's nice to meet you." He said kindly.
Allie ignored the two that joined them, simply staring off into space. Her fingers itched for a cigarette, but she refused to leave. Finally giving up on finding the German boy from the previous year, she searched through her bad until she found the sleek black pack. She looked from her lighter, to the others. "Want one?" She offered, trying to be polite. She wasn't exactly the kindest person last year.

Rachel smiled and winked at him as a 'nice to meet you' gesture she smiled, her green eyes sparkling "is this your first year?" she asked knowing it wasn't. She let her bloody hand fall to her side as she shoved the iPod in the pocket of her backpack

Evangeline glanced out to the field, seeming to zone out as Shawn left. She really didn't have much on her mind, surprisingly. It seemed that since her father had left, a bit of her mental sanity had been restored. However, she did have the occasional flashback now and then. When Allie pulled out a cigarette, Evangeline quickly shook her head, a slightly frightened expression on her face. "Y'know those can kill you, right...?"

Randy shook his head when Allie offered him a smoke, then snickered when Evangeline spoke. "Gee, smoking kills people? What an amazing fact!" This earned him a sock in the arm, and he grinned, rubbing the now sore spot near his shoulder. Glancing the way Paxton had left, Randy sighed softly, but quickly worked to erase the sadness from his face. "Still miss that German kid?" He asked, his voice not truly rude; he didn't know the boy's name, after all. He leaned back and turned his head to Allie, raising an eyebrow.

Shawn shook his head after he slid back over. He glanced at Eve, glad she hadn't taken one. He hadn't particularly supported smoking, and was actually against it. Shawn breathed deeply, letting out a sigh after a few seconds. He ras[ed his fingers against his theighs. "My grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer a few months back because she'd been smoking since she was...eleven?" He guessed, rubbing his wrists nervously.

Paxton chuckled. "Nah. I'm a Junior." He said, rubbing his upper arm and feeling slightly self conscious. He looked around once, before turning back to the girl.

Allie shrugged to the three, and when eve spoke she laughed. "Good. Lets hope it kills me before someone else does." She said, lighting up. She simply shrugged when Randy spoke, her eyes slightly sad. She blew out the smoke away from the group, trying not to get any in their faces. She stared at the 'nerd' boy and sighed. "Gosh..I'm sorry, dude.." She said, holding the cigarette out of the wind's direction.

Rachel smiled "same..." I'm sure we have had classes or something together" she shrugged as she started to pick at the red nail varnish on her nails.

"Anythings Possible." He said, smiling. "I'll see you later." He said, winking once before walking back toward the group.

Shawn shrugged, leaning back in his seat. "Don't worry about it. She's recovered." He replied quietly, rubbing his palms nervoulsy. He let out a long sigh, glancing towards the others. He hoped someone would speak to break the silence.

Allie smiled to him. "Thats good." She said, turning away to take another hit. Paxton sat down beside Randy and sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "What'd I miss?" He questioned quietly.

Evangeline's eyes widened in child-like fear when Shawn spoke, and she leaned against him, not wanting to 'embarrass' him with a full-blown hug. This was the first she'd heard, and she had to admit, she was a bit too soft around Shawn. "Well, at least she's better..." She said softly, glancing toward the football field. Evangeline hated being so sensitive, but it was better than being hard-headed. Well, at least she thought so.

Randy blinked a few times when Paxton sat down, the boy's voice bringing him back to reality. He'd zoned out for what seemed to be the millionth time, and he was still tired. "I think it's something about Shawn's grandmother..." The boy said quietly, yawning into his hand. He blinked a few times then leaned back, trying to wake himself up. "Man...that's the last time I stay up late..."
