Em relaxed and pricked her ears.She tossed her head."I escaped"She said slyly.She tossed her head again."I got a fright when an insect landed on me"She said honestly.

Darkheart finally relaxed and looked out. You are afraid of insects? Have you not noticed the horseflies?" He snorted a laugh and stopped circling. "Thats ok, i was spooked too when i ran. But then you realized its much better out here".

Em shifted "Doesn't seem like its amazing around here"She looked around her.Her gaze fell on a small apple tree.She trotted over and stretched her neck up to pick an apple.

"You will see it later" Dark said. He kicked the dirt and trotted off. "Coming?" Dark lookedt o the dismal evening sky. The sun... It was hidden. His tail swished back and forth uneasy.

"Yeah one second"Em replied strecting further and grabbing the apple.She chewed it happily and trotted towards the other horse.

"Have you ever climbed the cliff side?", Darkheart asked. He nodded to the stretch of rock in front of them.

Em shook her head,"no never"She said.She looked it over and snorted.

"Well dont get a bowed tendon; im not gonna carry you", Darkheart quickened his pace. He looked back several times, making sure they were not being hunted.

Em hrew head up in the air and trotted after him,keeping pace.She looked around her at the view.

When Darkheart reached the side of the cliff, he stopped and looked at Em. Without a word, he placed one hoof on a flat rock, then another, and began to haul himself up slowly.
