Miles fished out another hard hat with a flashlight on it and handed it wordlessly to Heather. He smiled brilliantly at her and motioned for her to follow him down to the kitchen.

Luna trudged along outside, her eyes fixed on the ground as she walked. She could really care less about anything at that moment, her ears pressed flat against her head. Luna's smile from, oh, years ago, had always been place with a frown, agressivness, or anything but happy. If she did smile, it would be fake. If there was happiness in her eyes, it wouldn't be real.

Heather took the hard hat and replaced the gir hat. She placed the hat on Miles' bed. She would return for it later. She followed after him, fiddling with the hat like it was off balance. "So where are we going?" She asked, breaking the silence.

"To get food, you know, so we can go explore the tunnels." he said happily, showing none of the sadness he had show up on the roof.
