Iduna had seen a lot during her centuries-long existence. She'd battled Orruk airships as they rayced around the floating metaliths of Chamon. She'd plumplbed the wild depths of the Gnarlwood, and strode through the wild, impossible landscapes wrought by the fell magicks of Tzeentch. Yet she had never been so caught off-guard as she was right now, listening to Ainz. The skeleton rattled off a truly bizzare string of words, and followed it up with a baffling lack of knowledge about who she was and what she represented. The hatred Nagash held for the Stormcast, souls snatched from his grip at the moment of their death, was legendary, there was no way an Ossiarch of this caliber would be this unaware of her. Unless...

"You are not an Ossiarch," Iduna stated. "You are from beyond the Mortal Realms, as Sigmar was. Perhaps everyone else here is as well." He was using terms that didn't make sense, invoking rules that didn't exist. Moreover, he was an undead that had made a concious effort to keep someone alive. There was no other explanation. The twinge of guilt she had felt for accusing Ainz earlier intensified. She had blamed him for the sins of a father that wasn't his. "It follows that this place is beyond the Realms as well. This just became much more complicated." She knew her soul would find its way to Azyr from anywhere in the realms, but would it do so from outside them? There was still another way back, but it was one she dreaded taking. "Tell me, Ainz, do you remember what you were doing before you arrived here?"

"You are not an Ossiarch," the woman stated.
"Oh, so this time you admit you were mistaken?" Ainz replied.

He kind of assumed it was another word for the undead in whatever place this woman came from, so he didn't really question it before now. She did offer a form of explanation for her reasoning, but the string of words only left Ainz with more questions than he had already. "No, I'm not an Ossiarch. I'm an elder lich. Specifically, an overlord." He clarified, minorly irked. At her observation about the non-location of the world they were in, he sighed. "Did that never occur to you before now?" He didn't intend to make the statement sound so demeaning, but it failed to express any other way. "It's clear that this world is beyond our respective origins, but wherever that may be in reference remains a mystery." He wasn't in the new world - everything about this snare pointed to something far above any capabilities he'd seen from that world. Even players like himself weren't capable of anything like this, so he didn't even consider it. But, given the view the other had had up to now, was that wrong?

"I concur," Ainz said, deep in thought. He assumed he'd been transported to this place like had the one before, with no link to his original world intact. None of the YGGDRASIL functions he had as a player existed in the new world, and even using the message spell didn't do any good whenever he tried using it to contact a GM. Was it careless for him to make that same assumption this time? Man, if you're going to get transported and stuck in another world, you should have to do it only once. Any more than that is totally unfair.

Next, she asked him what he was doing before he got here, and luckily, Ainz had already been thinking about that. "I had just completed a few jobs." Ainz answered. "I'm a member of the adventurer's guild, and I had just left after receiving my payment for the completed quests." As if to validate his claim, the caster directed her attention to the gleaming metal plate that hung around his exposed spine like a necklace. It certainly hadn't been there before, or maybe it just went unnoticed by all the other, far more eye-catching pieces of his outfit. "As an adamantine rank adventurer, I'm one of only a few who has the experience necessary to take on the most difficult quests. And if those aren't completed, it could put the kingdom in jeopardy." It wasn't exactly a bluff on Ainz's part, but he was trying to paint it in a way that the woman would see him differently than whatever experience she'd had with undead before now. If he put out there he was a famous hero for the people, she was sure to think better of him than if he said he was the conquerer of the lizardmen villages. "What about you? Do you recall where you were before here?"

Well, Lochlan seemed to be the one flirting, actually. Stepping back, he scratched his head, looking away from the scene bashfully even as Equinox tried introducing themself. He shook his head towards them with a slight shrug.

Long, long, honey-golden hair spilled down her back, and she hung over the balcony precariously, staring down at the two of them with strange eyes. Her outfit was a totally white, way too ornate dress, and there was a cute white bow tied to the top of her head. It was kind of too simple compared to the dress, actually. Despite her tone sounding almost excited, her face never changed, expression flat and eyes unblinking.‏‏‎

‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‏‏‎The bright lights coming from the hall had alerted her. She can't believe they've already arrived ... She had just sent those letters, didn't she? Or was that a while ago... Either way! It seemed like these guests had some super fancy tricks up their sleeves, regardless, and she came over to see what kinds of people had arrived.‏‏‎

Despite what Ainz had said regarding his qualifications, Iduna still couldn't help a hint of suspicion. "Elder lich" and "Overlord" were hardly benevolent titles, and she had only his word to go on. Still, he had given her no reason to doubt his word, so she squashed her suspicions for the time being. "I was in the city of Vindicarum, in the realm of Chamon," she said, in response to Ainz's question. "We had secured a number of magical artifacts during an assault on a Chaos stronghold, and I and some of my Stormhost had brought them to the Order of Azyr for safekeeping. Beyond that-

The Stormcast paused as she heard another voice from the balcony. A mortal girl, a child, really, stood above them, dressed in a manner Iduna would have likened to royalty. Iduna was, as before, suspicious, while nothing about the girl's outward appearance led her to suggest anything untoward, the fact that she had knowledge of their arrival was concerning. "I am Iduna Starbreeze," She called out, "Lord-Commander of the Stardust Vanguard. I take it, then, that you are the lady of this manor? And that you are responsible for our coming here?"

Corax Corvus ¦ Location: Front Garden ¦ OPEN
Corax couldn't recall how he'd ended up here at all. He was standing on the inside of a gate that led to a broad garden, with a paved pathway in the middle leading to a great manor. It looked scarily alike his childhood home, except it was set strongly on the ground instead of the sky. Corax came to the conclusion that he hadn't come here by himself, due to his lack of luggage. He had with him only his travelers bag; his journal, a few scrap pieces, a compass, silver chunks and a couple pencils. His karambits were safely tucked to the sides of his corset-like belt, alongside a few potions he always had on reach.
The letter he had got had mentioned a ball, yet his only clothes were the one he was wearing right now; a poor mans working shirt, a pair of leather pants, muddy boots and the corset in which the potions hung.
Corax saw a group of people standing a bit away from him. He didn't know if he wanted to go over there or not. Some seemed pretty, intimidating. On top of that his head was filled with questions like, why was he here? Did it have anything to do with getting his wings growing, and who was the host.
Instead he turned and walked alongside the tall rose bushes that were acting like walls to a labyrinth.

PS I know i didn't actively approach anyone so if no one approaches Corax it's fine, I'll just tag myself and make Corax go to where civilization exists again. I'm just waiting a bit cause I didn't want to make the first post too long. /gen

The city of Vindicarum, in the realm of Chamon. Yep, I have no idea what she's talking about. Ainz had thought maybe, just maybe, she'd come from a world connected to either the new world or even YGGDRASIL, since that wasn't the only dmmo-rpg available in Japan. That latter theory wouldn't explain her outright hostility towards him either, unless she happened to be an npc. Well, I guess it doesn't matter. In fact, it's probably for the best we don't come from the same world; I doubt she would approve if she knew anything about Nazarick. He just nodded along as if he had any clue what significance any of those names and locations had.

Then, a strange thing interrupted them. A delicate girl perched precariously on the balcony greeted them with boundless enthusiasm, but there was something off about her. She was perfect: perfectly seated, perfect posture, without so much as a strand of hair or fold of her clothing out of place. It was the kind of perfection seen from porcelain dolls, and the first thing it reminded him of was the homunculus maids that served on the ninth floor of the Great Tomb. The maids had been created by his guildmates like all the other Nazarick npcs, so it didn't bother him. But this? This was unsettling.

Still, the woman beside him was no doubt looking for any show of weakness to pounce on, so he quashed his discomfort and turned to face the balcony. The woman, Iduna he now discovered, took the opportunity to introduce herself first. It seemed she was a general of some kind, which would explain the quality of armor she wore. That also implied she had plenty of combat experience and was a force to be reckoned with. Ainz didn't want to get on her bad side without knowing what she was capable of. Once Iduna finished her introduction, the overlord followed suit. "And I am Ainz Ooal Gown, a simple magic caster, but you can just call me Ainz." Like Iduna, he also had questions, but he took a different approach. "I believe there has been some kind of misunderstanding," he stated. "I see you were expecting guests, but I was not prepared to attend any event. Perhaps there was another you intended to bring here instead? I wouldn't wish to intrude on a private gathering of course, so if you could point me in the direction of E-Rantel, I'll be on my way."

Star spirits were often born from various celestial matter, meaning that most of them shouldn't be closer than few meters from other star spirits or they risked more or less severe reaction from the matter creating their bodies. Skybells body practically never reacted to other celestial matter, but Antares mentioned that this might because of dark matter in their core. Interesting thing is that many non-celestial beings call their core heart.

Now that they were finally properly standing on the solid ground, Skybell appreaciated that they backed off a little, such close contact was very awkward for him after how long it was, few minutes after meeting these people? -"Sorry, That's my bad. I didn't mean to scare you like that. Skybell? That's a really pretty name for a pretty creature such as yourself."-
-"Aah, you didn't really scare me, more like startled, after all I hit the ground a little hard..."- star spirit mumbled a little at the end before making small awkard shy noise after being called pretty by Loch. Come on, they were considered pretty plain and childish in Scorpio Constellation, but hey an entire heavy outer robe weaved from blue cometh dust and blue nebula mist was a massive overkill... and appearently a new trend in the older generations, which tended to look as shiny as possible, to the point where you couldn't look as some individuals and Antares unfortunately one of them.

Then other earth beings started to introduce themselves -"My name is Equinox, but...you can call me Equi or Nox."- they weren't as tall like the rest of them and had some kind of uhh... nose jewelry made from metal and pair of glass plates? Nox also asked about hand shaking, making the dark haired spirit tilt their head in confusion a little... Another person was pale and concerned individual, they seemed to have some powerful aura to them ‎-‎❝ My name's Soma. Skybell— Are you really alright? ❞-

-"Uhm, I'm okay... Actually my kind is quite sturdy, so don't worry about that."- after a moment they added -"Now let me properlly introduce myself, I'm Skybell, youngest star spirit of Scoprio Constellation... Nice to meet you all... Do you happen to know what is this place??"- his wings giant wings smoothing out and untensing before disappearing again leaving two small loose feathers on the ground, showing that Skybell finally calmed themselves.

The ashen blonde one glanced over to Ainz and the swordswoman. She thought she'd heard the name Iduna spoken, but wasn't really sure. Shaking her head, she watched them a moment. The skeletal man headed inside. The tall swordswoman then followed after him. Ice herself was about five foot six. She was taller than her sibling, therefore. She thought she was about the same height as Soma. Shaking that thought away, she looked to Kail once more. She giggled as the other said the nickname, then asked if it was alright. "I said you could, so of course it's okay. I'd love to go exploring with you," she then said. She gave a sweet little smile, as she continued to look at the other.

She felt herself blush a bit as the other looked into her eyes. She quickly turned her eyes away, but nodded to her once more. "Yes...yes, we can explore then head inside. I want to find a good room before everyone else takes them." Though, looking at the mansion, any room was probably really nice. She smiled as she looked head on at the other again. She laughed sweetly again as the other said she didn't have to go with her. "I know...you're not forcing me," she said. She smiled that pretty smile again, then glanced around for a moment. She hummed a small sound, then stopped. She looked to where the boys, Equi, and Skybell were, a moment. Not that she knew the star being's name, of course.

The pretty and slender, dark haired one looked to Loch, when the older young man said his name. They didn't know if he was talking to them too, or just Skybell. They nodded to him, saying "Nice to meet you, Loch."

They turned their attention back to Soma a moment. They looked at him, then the star being as well as the seeming human. You couldn't just assume someone was a human, though. They hummed a small sound, then let out a quiet sigh. Lochlan had winked and smiled at them, but seemed much more interested in the blue haired one. Equi was perfectly fine with that. They found they were attracted to Soma. Loch was nice to look at too, but...there was just something about Soma.

Shaking their head, they looked to Soma when he spoke again. They nodded and said "Neither have I...so it must be someone they know." They then listened as he introduced himself. Soma also asked if Skybell was okay, so they waited to see what Skybell said.

They noticed that Skybell looked confused about the hand shaking thing. They said "Hand shaking is...a thing we do when meeting other people. Well, not everyone does it...You don't have to do it," they quickly said, then stared at his wings a moment. They listened as Skybell said they were okay. They wondered what species Skybell was, as Skybell said 'my kind'. Skybell soon answered that unspoken question. Equi watched the wings move a bit before disappearing.

They then shook their head a couple times.

"I...don't know where we are...and I don't think Soma or Lochlan do."

"We all just...showed up here," they said.

They finished with "Well, my sibling and I did, anyway."

All of a sudden, it was just in her hand. She leaned further over the balcony, turning it over so that they might see the wax seal holding it together from afar. ❝ I definitely sent you all of these invitations! Today's really special to me. I really wanted all sorts of people to attend tonight. ❞‏‏‎

The fair and just but sometimes stubborn and hard headed one shuddered. He'd been in his room, but suddenly he found himself here. It also seemed to be colder here...He hadn't been prepared for that, and he sighed a bit at the fact. He shook his head a couple times. The brown haired one checked himself, finding his Pokemon and bag were all still with him. He sighed with relief, then pushed open the gate he stood before. He turned to see a Latios...boy had followed him in.

Wings at his back stuck out, before he hid them away. The sweet and caring, daring and playful one hummed a bit. Eyes landed on a brown haired boy with a cap.
