[Stiles]

Truly, Annie wasn't surprised. The girl was a nut. She could tell from a mile.
"Ha," Annie said, rolling her eyes. "You know that my power can read your mind, and find the truth, don't you? You're lying. You're father died of cancer. And then your mother became an alcoholic." Annie said, pain in her voice.
(Yeah, this is fun.)

Anger rose up in Charlie's chest. She didn't hesitate to kick Annie hard in the face. It wasn't enough to break the b!tch's nose, but it was enough to shut her up.

[Stiles]

Annie quickly put a hand to her nose, and kicked the girl back in the leg, not hard tough, just to say, "Pay back."
"It's not my fault that I can hear people's thoughts!" Annie yelled. "It's not my fault that I bumped into your a-- and became allies!"
Annie rubbed her nose.
Now, stop kicking me! Annie yelled inside her mind.
Then she heard a small shriek come from Charlie.
Yeah, it's beyond weird. But guess what? Now we can talk without anybody knowing we are. Annie gave Charlie a long stare to make sure it was fine.

"Are we allies?" she asked. She looked the girl up and down. "Just don't pull any of your voodoo stuff while I'm around, okay? It's freaking me out."
Plus, we have bigger problems. There's three guys watching us. They've got guns. Charlie thought to her, hoping Annie could hear her.

[Stiles]

It was just like walking into Heaven's doors.
She could actually hear Charlie loud and clear. It was like not being deaf anymore.
Wow, she thought to Charlie. You catch on quick. Alright, listen, If I told you my power, She paused to make sure Charlie was listening. Then you show me your power.
Annie started to stuff her hair into her hat, not leaving a strand out.

Show you? Are you sure?
Just then, all three of the men advanced, jumping out of the bushes. Charlie had known they were there. She was waiting for them. She reacted quickly, but wanted to take the time to go a little slower than normal, so Annie would get a chance to take one on herself.
Charlie kicked one in the throat and in the gut, the guy was done for. The other one was a little tougher. She kicked him in the groin, punched him in the nose and kicked him in the head so hard, she was afraid his head would fall off.
It had all happened within a frame of two seconds. Charlie glanced at the last guy. She thought, Annie, you want to take this one?

[Stiles]

Annie was, no doubt about it, shocked.
And when Charlie told her to...
She screamed and charged at the man, her hands in front of her as if it would do any good.
She had her eyes shut close, yelling foul words.
When she came in range of the man, she didn't hit him. She stopped running, and cursing, and looked. She had ran right past him.
"Miss, I'm here." the man said, looking at the girl with an eye brow raised.
"Oh." was all she could get out.
She glanced at Charlie, who nodded towards the huge guy.
Annie cried out again, charged, but this time with her eyes open.
Her arms were in front of her again.
She ran straight at the man.
BUMP.
She only bounced off the guy.
The guy looked down at her.
Then he looked over at Charlie for help, who shrugged.
"She's new."
Then Annie punched the man in the face, which made him giggle.
"Alright," Charlie announced. "I'll do it."
The man was running in just seconds.
"Awesome!" Annie said, clapping her hands. "YEAH, YOU RUN BUDDY! I KILL YOU! I WILL KILL YOU NEXT TIME! YOU RUN HOME AND TELL MAMA!"
"Annie," Charlie said, placing a hand on the screaming Annie.
"GO TELL MAMA, AND WHEN YOU DO COME BACK, YOU BETTER HAVE MORE GUYS THAN THAT! YOU NEED MAMA TO PROTECT YOU, BABY!?"
"Annie!" Charlie snapped.
Annie turned.
"Yeah?"
"Uh.. game's over. Let's go."
Charlie gathered up the guns, and walked back to the academy with Annie, who was grinning ear to ear.

The tears forming in Rain's eyes started to fall down her cheeks. She nodded again, incapable of words.

Jessy got one last text from her friend, Malery, it said,"you should totally run away, theres nothing interesting there,do it tonight...just tell me what town your in and ill pick you up at a coffe store or something "
Jessy thought about it for a little bit, and decided that it was for the best...
