Kate stood, and looked down at Rain with such hatred, she wanted to stab her.
"Annie died for this?" She whipped around to see the guy with the baby. Kate took a step. "For this?" she repeated, her voice rising.
She bawled her hands in fists, and felt an angry tear roll down her cheek. "This? This is it? She died for some girl who isn't coming back? Look!" She gestured to Rain and Annie. "They are not coming back! They're dead! And Annie was shot and killed so she could save this! This..." Kate looked at Rain with disgust.
"I could of brought her back," a voice whispered.
Kate turned, and saw Calvin, looking down at the floor. "How?" she snapped. "I have the power of turning back time." he said, looking slowly up at Kate.
"Then why didn't you?" she pressed.
A moment of silence. "Because it would mess up history."
Kate laughed at that. "History? Now you're worried about history? Get a grip! Get Annie and Rain back!" she screamed.

Alex handed shane the baby and went over to the girl who was freaking out. "hey calm down" he said softly. he held her shoulder gently. he turned his head to shane to see if she could put a small relaxent on the girl, shane's power was to control and read emotions so why not. she shook her head at me. i rolled my eyes and turned back to the girl.

Kate turned to the boy.
Don't you ever think that you can just relax me. Don't do your foodoo stuff to me! she screamed in his mind, hopping it would feel like knife crashing down on his mind.
Then she thought.
How did she do that?
Hey, can you hear me? she asked again, closing her eyes, hopping he would.
Then she opened. She felt his presence. He could feel it.
"Oh my gosh," she whispered, and shook his hand off. "How did I just do that?"
She looked down, and thought real hard.
She backed away from Alex dude and Charlie.
"Did anybody know Annie's power?"
"Yeah, she could absorb."
Kate frowned. "Could... you know, give a power? or something like that?"
Calvin shrugged.
Then how can I do this? she thought to him. How can I hear people's thoughts?

She turned to Calvin and Alex. "We've gotta go now." she said. "They'll be here any second, and I'm not sure if I can fight of twenty machine guns in this small room."

Alex nodded. his head throbbed though from kate using her ability to scream in his mind. he tilted his head and hit the side of his head as if he could get the screaming out.((there really isn't any because she isnt screaming but his ears are ringing))

Kate stared at Charlie. "Uh... wait," she turned to Alex. "Sorry about that." she stopped making the knifes.
"Do... do you think I could heal their bodies? You know.... to... maybe if they're strong enough...." She kind of trailed off after that.
Calvin shrugged, and then agreed with Charlie. "Yeah, we need to go. But where will we put the bodies? Or... are we even taking them?"
Kate whipped around on him. "Of course we are," she snapped. Then she looked to Alex with worried eyes. "Won't we? I know you won't leave your girlfriend."
She kind of doubted he would. And she knew she would never leave Annie. Especially when they had a chance.

Alex nodded. "of course" he said looking at rain's dead body. he cringed as he looked at her. his first real love, gone in less than a month. he felt tears threatening to fall from his eyes, but he tried hard to push them away.
