Kate nodded, but felt terrible.
"Who was the person who shot them?" she asked quietly, looking down. "Annie was my sister."

Charlie heard the gun shots, but made sure the man wouldn't notice she could hear something. Due to her being a survival gifted person, she had much better sight and hearing than any normal human. There were about twelve shots, and it sounded like a 9mm Glock, the kind of gun the bad guys carried.

Kate sat down heavily near the bed where Rain's and Annie's body were.
She looked back up to the boy who was holding a baby. Her eyes were wet with tears.
"So... this is how it all ends? By everybody dead?" she sniffed, and brushed away another tear.
"Kate Sims, 12 year old freak who just watched her sister who she didn't knew in her whole life die."
She went to the nearest corner, brought her knees to her, and hugged them.
Then she looked back up to see a blond haired boy.
"This isn't how it ends," he said, staring down at her. "This has just begun."
This worried her. "Who are you?" she asked.
"Calvin. Annie's friend." he replied.

Alex sat down grief struck. he shut everything out. he wished he could just grow a huge cage of vines around him and just die on the spot. what was life worth living if the person you loved was dead. macy started to cry in his hands. he sang the song that he haad written for Rain that he was going to sing for her before she died. Macy started to calm down and of course Alex smiled. alex had never been into music, but when he met rain she got him into it. he deicided to take guitar. it took him forever to write a song, but he had done it and of course like always he was too late.

Charlie heard Rain's thought. She hated how everyone she knew would almost die on her, and give their final words to her when they were going to live. It got a little annoying.
Sirens started wailing. The man stood up quickly. That was when Charlie made her move.
She lased out with her foot, and caught the man in the temple. He was out cold.
She ripped the keys from his belt, and the gun from his side. She unlocked the lare steel door, thinking about how they should've had way more security on her.
She ran down the hall way. And suddenly she felt... was that Alex's presence? Yes.
She followed it. It led to a room. Alex was there with Macy.
Rain was lying on a hospital bed. Dead.
