Charlie was right behind Annie and Rain when the started running. She stood in the door way, and watched as Annie drew her bowie knife. There was a man with Macy in his arms. This man wasn't going to live long.
Then, Alex woke up, and threw the man out the window. "She okay?" Charlie asked. She quickly got out of Rain's way. sure that she'd run to Mace. (That's Charlie's little nickname for Macy)

"Him?" Charlie asked. "As in HIM?! The dude that..." she trailed off.
She immediately started to work out all the reasons why he would come back. She recalled everything her father had said about r*pists. There had only been one case in which she could remember where 'him' had come back to kill the woman. She doubted he would come back for the child. Why would he come back. If he'd wanted Rain dead he wouldn't have done it in the school, he would've killed her outside at night.
She ran out of the room to the school's front door. Annie and Alex could take care of Rain for now. She was going to find the 'him' Alex threw out the window. When she stood under their window, the 'him' wasn't there. He had ran. He was still lose. (MUAHAHAHAHA!!!)

Rain swallowed and nodded. She took Macy and clutched her close to her chest.

She had followed the tracks the 'him' had left. They led into the forest. She continued to follow. It's not like the guy could r*pe her too. She was too quick, too strong, and she could kill him with a single blow. Charlie stopped dead when the tracks ended suddenly at the road. There were tire tracks where someone had sped away fast. This guy had had help. The tires seemed to come from a truck.
She decided they would be too far away for her to catch them now. She turned and headed back to the school. She went to her room and grabbed one of the three guns. She carried it back to Rain's room, held out the gun and said, "If he came back once, he'll most likely come back twice."

Alex walked over to rain and put an arm around her. "everythings Onna be alright" he assured her. "I'll protect you if he comes back" he said smiling softly at her.
