Jess slid the paper into her hand, peered at it then placed it into her pocket.
"Well?" The teacher asked, her finger to her face. "It seems like you don't know the answer to the question."
"Well in fact miss, I see now." She said. As she looked at the board and realized it was about Romeo and Juliet, she could figure it out. "You see, it's Romeo and Juliet. The clue hints that he has a surprised tone in his voice because he hears the horse coming. Now that can't be Macbeth, as there isn't any horses in that story, nor is there in Hamlet, I don't think. But Romeo is whispering to Juliet when he comes to the balcony and hears the horse. I.. think."
Miss blinked, "Yes that's right, Jessica. Um, very good. But pay attention, and do not doodle in lessons."

Jess turned around. "Cheers." She whispered, then turned back to her book. The class had to write a few paragraphs on the play Macbeth. She decided to do hers on the 3 witches, as she found them intriguing.

Zero smiled slightly. "Welcome." he wispered as he wrote a few paragraphs from Hamlet. Zero enjoyed reading very much but not these kinds of books. He did like dsome romantic books though. He countinued to writeand as he did he thought to him self. 'That girl is pretty. I wonder what else there is to her.'

When the teacher said time was up, she looked at the class.
"Now, hm let's see, Jessica Denton." She started. She hated Jess and always picked on her. "Stand up, and draw a picture of the characters you decided to write about."
"Where miss?" Jess asked softly.
"On the board. With this black pen. But hurry up, we do not have all day." The teacher thought that Jess would be pathetic at drawing, especially with the board pen that had run out.
But when Jess took the pen lid off and began to draw, the ink flew out of the pen tip easily. She must have picked up the wrong pen. But not only that, Jessica drew the three witches very good. One looked very cute, but ugly at the same time... the other two deformed, and evil. They had a dark cauldron in front of them bubbling with goo.
"Uh, there miss. I tried to be as quick as I could but I love drawing so I tried to make it look nice."

The teacher huffed but smiled. "Yes, very nice. Now class, the bell is going to be going in a second, so pack away."

Zero liked Jesss drawing. He packed up.

Jess packed up and went to her next lesson, PE. She loved PE, because she liked a lot of sports. She was glad that the boys were separated from the girls into a different group, because she didn't like boys seeing her in her PE kit. She smiled, while she would be playing volleyball, or netball, or bench ball, they would be playing football or some other thing that boys do. She plaited her hair again, dressed into her kit and ran into the hall. They were playing dodgeball.

Jess grabbed a flying ball that was souring towards her and slammed it into someone on the opposing team. They were out, and she could bring in a person off her team. She brought in a small girl called Louis. The other team laughed at the decision, because Louis was a very small, skinny girl with small blue eyes and little glasses perched onto her nose. She had thin, dishwater blonde hair and she looked very tired. The other team roared with giggles.
And then, Louis caught all the balls flying towards her and slammed them into the people on the other team. Slam, out. Bang, Out. Kerpow, out. The giggles had gone down and everyone was looking at the tiny girl. They were definitely not expecting that outcome.

A minute later, Jess and Louis had taken out all the other team. Victory to them!
"Who's laughing now, suckers?" Louis shouted unexpectedly with this loud voice that no one thought would come out, and she smirked at all the losers who had been slammed out by a ball.

Zero walked on to his next class, PE. He put his gym clothes on and ran out in the hall not wanting to be late. They were playing dodgeball and when he walked in he got hit in the face with a dodge ball. "BLEEP!" Zero shouted as he threw the ball and hit someone in the face.

By that time the girls were in their changing rooms, already getting changed into their uniform. The bell went, and the loud herds of children could be heard from the corridors. Mm, the sweet sounds of one hour lunchtime. A whole hour to eat, and play, and do whatever they felt like.
Jess slung her bag over her shoulder and walked down to the dinner hall with her friends. She gazed at the group of girls she'd be sitting with before she sat down next to them and began to happily chat about whatever came to her mind. She grabbed her sandwich and bit into it, the taste of sweet chicken and lettuce entering her taste bud's. She sipped from the apple juice in the small carton and lent back onto the wall they were sitting near.

Zero got changed quickly and ran to lunch. He spotted Jess'es bag and put his down next to hers. He got in the lunch line and choose a chicken sandwich.

"Who's that?" One of Jess's friends, Abigail, asked.
"I don't know. I think his name is Zero, or something like that." She replied casually as she watched Jenny apply mascara. "Can't you do that at home?"
"No. My parents don't like me putting makeup on but y'know, everyone does these days, so I put it on at school." Jenny sighed. She opened up her bag and it was packed with all different makeup things.
"Gosh Jenny, you have a whole makeup store in there!" Abigail laughed. "My mother let's me put on lipstick and foundation. But nothing else. I'm allergic to eyeshadow."
"Okay Abby, I guess this subject is getting real boring now." Jess giggled. "Let's talk about..."
"HOLY COW!" Samantha mumbled, her mouth wide. She was staring at her little pink cell phone. "HOLY. COW."
Jess looked across at her. "What? Sheesh Sam, everyone's looking at us now. You don't have to scream that loud."
"I know but look at this text I just got! It's from flippin' Jake Dios! He want's to take me to the dance on Friday!" Sam burbled out.
Abby stared. "Jake. Dios. The hottest dude in school. Want's to go to the dance, with you?!"

"Guys. He's only a dude. He's pretty cute, but hello, he's a right snob." Jess argued.
"I agree. He is so handsome, but gee. He's just a selfish pig." Jenny agreed.

Zero had his lunch and walked back to where his backpack was. "Umm....... I can move if you guys want. I don't mind." Zero said looking accros the table. Zero remembered the dance was this friday. He didn't know who he would take.
