.::The Plot::.

The setting is in the future of the United States. It is referred to as the "Silver Era" by most.

13790z

You're an agent in one of the American government's many top secret plans. The scientists there are developing and testing out killer creatures known as "experiment 13790z", but it is more commonly called "experiment 13z" for short. These monsters are unlike nothing the world has ever seen before with it's long serpentine like body and very fox-like features. It had a long flowing mane and a unicorn's horn placed on the center of its forehead. One should not be deceived by its beauty though, for these animals are bloodthirsty killers. They will stab victims mercilessly with their deadly horns and rip them apart with those super sharp teeth. Their hooves are as tough as diamonds and they have strong physic abilities, being able to use telekinesis and hurt others with merely a thought. But these god forsaken creatures have a tendency to go absolutely insane, and there is only one thing that can prevent such a catastrophe; dreams.

The Agents

That's where you come in. You are a highly trained individual who has a very special and dangerous job; gather dreams for these monsters. Some of these agents aren't even human, being of a different race such as the elves and the fairies with much more heightened senses. The government issues out several extremely advanced gadgets that help in dream collecting, which usually makes the process very quick. But something goes wrong this time.

Limbo

The agents accidentally stumble into the limbo zone and all the technology goes haywire and stops working and all communication with the scientists is cut off. Once this happens, the agents get stuck in limbo, a place where horrible things spawn. Those things are called "Limbo Creatures" as nobody is even sure as to what they are. They are dark and shadowy creatures that normally take up the shape of typical Earth animals. Their true form is unknown, but they are definitely creepy and vicious animals who thirst for you blood. They can talk verbally, but most choose to talk with thoughts to mess with the victim's mind.

The Legend

There is a legend, from before the Silver Era, from a time called the "Smoke Era", in which there was a pair of twin gods known as the Dream Keepers. They took up the form of young and colorful dragons and their names were Zirxyn and Nyxriz. They were complete opposites, one being the keeper of dreams while the other was keeper of nightmares. It was said that if prove yourself strong and worthy by slaying two limbo creatures and leaving the dead bodies as an offering at both gates of the Dream Realm, the Dream Keepers will set you free from their trap know as limbo.

The Mission

You, the agents, must find a way to please the gods and escape from limbo while avoiding those sickly Limbo Creatures as much as possible. Some may be friendly and help you along they way, but it wouldn't be very wise to be too trusting. Will you be able to prove you worth to the gods, or will you die like the rest that have tried before you?

.::Types of Characters::.

These are the types of characters you are able to play. Please note that these are just guidelines, and your character does not have to follow by these examples exactly.

The Species

★Human☆
The humans are the most dominate species in the project. The humans tend to lean towards the more exciting agent jobs though. Generally they have a taste for adventure and thrills. Although, their personalities have a wide range and don't just stop at the daredevil sort. They play a huge role in the missions being the ones who mostly do the dangerous work out in the field. The humans are only able to have natural occurring looks, the only exceptions being colored contacts and dyed hair. Humans have a wide range of heights, but tend to go toward the short side. A normal lifespan of human would be about 75 or so years. They tend to favor the elves and fairies more often than hybrids.
Strengths: Intellectual, Strong, Willingness, Few fears, Sturdy.
Weaknesses: Typically clumsy, Slow, Hiding, Height, Tracking.

★Elf☆
The elves are the second most common species in the agency, only upped by humans number wise. Elves often take jobs a scientists most of the time, but there are a fair amount of elves as agents. They are a more reserved species and believe strongly in keeping peace with others. They tend to have talents in tracking dreams and camouflage. The elves come in a wide variety of looks, leaning towards the natural side. Although, unnatural colors are not uncommon either. Elves generally have long pointed ears, and some have been know to sport sharp, needle-like teeth and even tails. Most are very or abnormally tall. A typical lifespan would be about 500 years. 126 years to 250 would be adolescent, while 251 to 375 would be adult. They are a neutral species.
Strengths: Agile, Peaceful, Good trackers, Intellectual, Height.
Weaknesses: Delicate, Too passive sometimes, Not the best at fighting, Apprehensive, Soft-spoken.

★Fairy☆
Fairies are the third prevailing species that one would come across in the project, under humans and elves. Fairies are pretty even split, with a tiny bit more fairies as agents. They are a very upbeat and energetic species who rarely ever sit down. They are very good at motivating and keeping good team morale. Their talents usually lie in dream capturing and fast paced chases. Fairies come in a very wide range of looks, mostly with very bright and vibrant colors, thus they are not the best at hiding themselves. Many fairies have a pair of intricate wings on their back and some may have sharp claws. The fairies are on the short side, barely coming up to 5'2. The normal lifespan of a fairy would be 300 years. 76 year to 150 would be teenager, while 151 to 225 is an adult. They tend to favor the humans as friends.
Strengths: Resourceful, Encouraging, Fast, Energetic, Flying
Weaknesses: Annoying, Not the smartest, Delicate, Height, Reckless.

★Hybrid☆
The least abundant species in the project, hybrids are a mix between two species. Most common is an elf x human hybrid while the least common would be a fairy x elf hybrid. Each hybrid has attributes of both parent's species, but they aren't necessarily stronger than the other agents. In some cases, they may even be weaker. The features of both species are given in small, even amounts to make a more balanced being. If one side overpowers the other, the child may be subject to severe insanity. Their looks and height will vary depending what they are mixed, and so will their talents. Lifespan depends on the mix of races. Human mixes have a bit shorter lifespans than their magic side, while fairy and elf mixes have a lifespan in between, such as 400 years. They tend to be the least liked for having "impure" blood as the other pure blooded individuals say.
Strengths: Depends on the mix.
Weaknesses: Depends on the mix.

A Scientist

★Analyst☆
The analysts are the scientists that look over and analyze the data collected about experiment 13z. They work closely with the Recorders and Testers to make sure they get accurate results. The analysts compare notes and are the ones to make final conclusions about any one problem or set of data. They are usually very smart individuals that pay close attention to detail.

★Recorder☆
The recorders are the ones to record and write down any data from the tests on experiment 13z. They are also in charage of the official archives and are very careful to see that no documents have been lost. They work with the testers mostly to make sure they are writing down the correct information. Recorders are often highly responsible beings with the ability to memorize many things.

★Tester☆
A tester is an individual who actually performs the tests and experiments on 13z. They are also responsible for feeding the experiments dreams at exactly the same time every month or else chaos will break loose. They must be very careful to get the right data from their tests or face severe consequences. These must be very brave and responsible individuals who have a respect for the experiments.

★Supervisor☆
The supervisors are the ones who supervise all tests and make sure things run smoothly. If they don't do their job correctly, they face the risk for ruining the project for months on end. They don't do much unless quick and urgent action is needed. Supervisors also have the job of making sure the experiments don't escape, which can be very tricky at times. They are usually resourceful and quick to act people.

An Agent

★Tracker☆
Trackers are the ones who track down the dreams and locate their exact location. Their jobs lie mostly in the laboratory, but they also help out in tracking down what specific dream they are looking for. They tend to be talented in picking up signs and following their instincts. The trackers are most often elves, but fairies and humans sometimes track as well.

★Chaser☆
The chasers are the agents that are responsible for chasing down the dreams or weeding them out of hiding places. They are fast and agile, and they usually have a one track mind. If they get distracted for even a second, the dream could be out of sight before they had a chance to blink. Chasers are mostly fairies, maybe elves, and rarely humans.

★Attacker☆
The attackers job is to actually attack the dream, whether it be with the highly sensitive equipment or just a simple weapon. The dreams appear in the solid forms of animals, much like Limbo Creatures, but they are going after the white colored or mythical animals in the Dreamworld. Thus, weapons are to be used to slow down or kill said Dream Creatures. Many attackers are brave and reckless, so they are mostly fairies and humans.

★Catcher☆
The catchers are the ones who actually catch the Dream Creatures and bring them back to the group. They are often quick and rather resourceful when it comes to plans in catching these pesky critters. Many are good at long distance throws, which may be required to catch the faster of the Dream Creatures. Catchers are normally fairies and elves, possibly humans as well.

A Limbo Creature
★Mindeater☆
The Limbo Creatures known as the mindeaters are a subspecies that specialize in torture using their heightened telekinesis powers. They tend to never use their actual voices, relying solely on their minds to communicate. These creatures tend to mostly appear as equine and deer-like animals. They also eat thoughts instead of flesh, hence their names.

★Siren☆
Sirens are typically beautiful looking Limbo Creatures with a bone chilling siren call. They are a symbol of bad luck and near death. As such, this subspecies is not seen as often as the others. They also lure in their prey with their good looks and will proceed to kill and eat their victim in just a few seconds. Unlike typical Limbo Creatures, they usually appear as mythical animals such as unicorns and dragons.

★Bloodsucker☆
Bloodsuckers as their names suggest feed purely on blood instead of flesh. They are the most violent and deadly of the subspecies, and often the strongest. They use their real voices most of the time, as a lot of them are kind of simpleminded and cannot communicate with their minds as well as others can. They usually appear as canines and felines, with the occasional larger predator mixed in as well.

.::The Dreamworld::.

The Dreamworld consists of several different "zones" most of which are varying climate ranges and landforms that occur on Earth. The only exception is the Limbo Zone. The features of the zones tend to be odd and twist at strange angles. Also, things are usually very bright in the Dreamworld, save for the Limbo Zone. The Dreamworld is filled to the brim with any animal ever imagined, although they have a wispy, ghost like appearance. The animals are the essence of the dreams, born into the Dreamworld from the sweet dreams of children. These animals are always which, and the mythical animals are the purest and most innocent dreams. The zones are numbered, starting at one and going up. Zone zero is the Limbo Zone. There is a gate in the Dreamworld dedicated to the dream god Zirxyn. The gate is located on one of the six islands in the Island Arc. Sometimes the Dreamworld is referred to as the Dream Realm.

.::Limbo Zone::.

The Limbo Zone is the place where those shadow creatures spawn, were dreams go to die. This also the birthplace of nightmares and horrible dreams. The animals here are pitch black and shadowy with piercing, eerie eyes. The Limbo Zone is zone zero in the Dream Realm. All of the agents' equipment gets cut off and becomes useless in this zone, so it is pretty bad if you get stuck here. Unlike the Dreamworld which is broken up into zones, the Limbo Zone simply has places with specific names. There is a gate in this zone as well, to the nightmare god Nyxriz. The gate is located somewhere in the heart of the Forest of Screams.
