[Play With Fire]

Ash walked quickly, her feet pounding the ground. Eclipse had flown ahead, and she could see him circling the sky; waiting for her. She smiled at the Latios that hovered in the sky, waiting for her. He flew down to her in a few minutes, landed, then walked alongside her. She turned to look at him.
"You didn't have to come you know, you could have waited." She tried to act stubborn, but it didn't work with him. She loved pokemon that could sense your emotions. They felt right.

Tiff could see Ash in the distance. It was quite obvious because Ash was one among few who actually had a Latios. And her Latios, Eclipse, was as friendly and timid as she, Tiff, was. It had been a year since she had seen her best friend, Ash, and she couldn't wait to catch up with her in the next town over. She started to run, excitment giving her energy on this hot August afternoon. She couldn't help but call Ash's name.
"Ash! Ash!" She called. Spark whistled, calling even more attention to them. Tiff also couldn't wait to see Jay, Ash's Lucario.

[Play With Fire]

Ash saw Tiff, then heard her name. She waved at her friend, then pulled out a ball. Jay came out of it, as hansome as ever. Everyone liked Jay, and Ash knew that Tiff favored him above all of her other pokemon. Jay jumped up, excited. Ash wanted to call out all of her pokemon, but she knew it would be chaotic, so she only called out her basic pokemon, who were all excited themselves.

Tiff smiled when she saw Jay.
"Jay!" She murmured to herself. She couldn't wait to see the telepathic pokemon. Tiff wished Jay was her on, because she had always loved the stories about Lucario and Sir Arin. It made her cry sometimes, to think they could have had such a powerful bond. She sometimes wished she could have that same bond with one of her pokemon. She knew Ash had a very strong bond with all of her pokemon. She had played with alot of her pokemon when she was younger. She had grown up with her pokemon.

Even though Ash couldn't wait to see her friend, at the next battle in the town over, she kept her cool and started to walk. She entered the town, looking around. Everything was clean and bright for the upcoming pokemon battle. Ash sat down in a small cafe, called all of her pokemon back besides Eclipse and Lucario, then waited for Tiff.

Tiff gasped, jogging into the cafe.
"Ash!" She cried, sitting down next to her friend.
