Clover gave her a funny look, her head tilted to the side. "Why was he strutting about the neighborhood with you like that then?" Strange how Lucky behaved for women, she thought.

Kia thought for a bit then pulled it together, "We are just friends." She said, Really close friends. She thought then shock her head.

Sapphire woke up, realizing she passed out. there was a large blood stain on the couch. "S***," she muttered. "That's not gunna be coming out!" She got up, checking her wounds, and realized the blood finally stopped. She peered into a mirrior, gently openening her eye, which was almost swolen shut.
"I'm a mess," she said, getting a bath started.
She couldnt help but wonder where Kia and the others went.

Clover didn't look like she believed her, but then Charlotte started to fuss, waving her tiny arms around and wrinkling her tiny face, so she let it go to try to amuse the little girl. Charlotte wouldn't have it. She let two big tears roll down her chubby cheeks and whimpered. "Will you help me?" She asked Kia helplessly, "She doesn't think I'm funny. Can you... Whistle or make some kind of high pitched noise? She likes that." Clover herself found it practically impossible to do such things. She was tongue tied.

((Lucky will return momentarily, lol))

Kia nodded her head, and then make a loud whistle. She laughed and then looked for Lucky. Maybe he was getting dressed or something like that. She looked around and then back at Clover and Charlotte.

Charlotte's face immediately brightened and she smiled widely while Kia whistled. She threw her arms around in delight at this new sound and new person. She stretched her arms out for Kia. She wanted Kia to hold her. Clover was boring.
Clover shook her head with a smile and offered the baby to Kia.

Lucky returned wearing some clean clothes. He felt much better, and he was holding his lovely little princess cat. Nixon purred in his arms and watched the proceedings with distaste. Nixon did not like babies. "My Lotte, what are you doing here?" He asked, cooing to Charlotte.

James felt blood gushing out of the back of his head. His hand was throbbing with great pain. " Hannah.. are you.. OK?" he asked and reached out his hand an waving it around looking for her. James started wheezing and breathing heavily.

Kia smiled, and stretched out her arms to grab Charlotte. She laughed a little then turned to Lucky, "Oh, there you are." She said, a small grin of joy on her face, at the sight of him.
