((I will start! /eager beaver))
Lucky was sitting out on his front porch and munching on some cereal. He ate straight from the box, that way he wouldn't have to wash an extra bowl at the end of the day. His cat and his dog, Nixon and Google respectively, sat at his feet watching him eat. When the mail arrived, Lucky asked Google to fetch it, and the silly little dog ran as fast as his little legs could carry him toward the mail. He grabbed it and dragged it back for Lucky, who in turn tossed Google a piece of cereal. The dog munched on it happily, relishing in the favoritism that his master lavished on him over Nixon.
Sadly, all boxes of cereal have a bottom, and Lucky had finally reached it. Sighing, he went and placed the box in the compost bin next to his house. Recycling was very important to Lucky; almost as important as being able to read and do basic arithmetic, but not quite.
Wandering down the little path from his house, he stopped at the sidewalk and stretched. Nixon and Google followed at his heels, treading carefully as not to be stepped on.
"Mreeeeeeeoooow?" Nixon inquired, looking up at Lucky when he finished stretching.
"Up?" Lucky asked back. He was getting better at understanding cats, because Nixon jumped into his arms. Google's turn to be jealous. The odd trio made their way down the sidewalk, looking at all the homes. Apparently there was a werewolf on the loose here, though it was more likely to be a giant wolf, or a pack of them, for that matter. Werewolves just did not exist. Or so Lucky believed, but who was he to say what was and what wasn't? He stroked his cat's warm fur and continued his walk down the street, Google's collar jingling and waking the neighborhood as he wiggled along behind.
They decided to go to the grocery store.
