Welcome to Johnson-Way Academy

Johnson-Way Academy, or JWA, is the typical high school academy, grades 9th-12th. JWA is located in Phoenix, Arizona. It has all the drama, relationships, extras, cliques of any other Public High School. Only, the one thing about JWA is, the set-up, it's a little different. See the students, they live on campus; almost like they are in college. Dorms, Clubs, Greeks. All the things you might find at a college, only in a High school Academy.

Academy Rule Book
#1- Curfew is 11:00 pm. Must be in dorm room.
#2- You may leave the school permises in the time period of 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm.
#3- No visiting of opposite gender dorm after 9:00 pm
#4- Only 2 classes may be cut per school day within good reason.
#5- No Electronics after starting-of-school bells. Unless lesson based.
#6- No PDA's (Public Displays of Affection) during school hours.

Personality:Socially Awkward, Dill isn’t someone who will go up to someone and start talking. Nor will he be comfortable with someone coming up to him and talking. He often will begin to hide behind his art. However, if he finds someone kind enough, he will begin to up to others, and tell his tale.
History:Born and raised in German, Benjamin Dill Johnson lived a ‘normal’ life. He never fit in with his peers, and found that out at a very young age. He was often the child who drew pictures in the corner instead of playing ‘Bang Bang!’ with the other toddlers. The teachers would ask them why he didn’t play with them. He answer was always the same, “They don’t like me. It’s mutual.” After about 10 years, people stopped worrying about his anti-sociability. They just left him alone.
When he reached high school, the bullying began. He was somewhat of a nerd and misfit. People became his fear, and color became his savior.

Personality:Headstrong and loud. Shanii isn’t afraid to fight her way out of situations. Situations, that is, that she got herself into by fighting others. Even though she can come of as trouble, Shanii still has is ashamed of what she has done. She is broken inside, and feels no one will fix her.
History:Shanii was born in Italy, but moved to German in grade school. Often was picked on by the little boys and girls, which is when she would give them a black eye or broken nose. She got kicked out of four different Junior highs before going into High school where she got hooked on drugs, and other things she shouldn’t have been on. Despite all the trouble she had gotten, her father told her to keep her head high and never look down. “That’s when they trip you.”

Personality:Sweet but Tough. Valentine is a head-strong French girl who isn’t afraid to speak what’s on her mind. Whether it’s important or just plain random. She is somewhat Bi-Polar, but it’s hard for others to see it in her. Valentine can be quite protective to the ones she loves, but is also very shy around them.
History:Valentine Fate Simoe. Born to France Natives, Andrew Lee Simoe and Valeria Lynn Sterling.
Valentine's parents wanted her to have a unique name, so that's what they gave her. She was born around Valentine's Day, but it has nothing to do with her name. Pronouncing her first name Val-n-teen, instead. They gave her the middle name of Fate, because they knew she would come to great things. Sadly, they were wrong. Luckily, they never got the chance to see all she did.
Valentine lived with her parents for 13 years until they passed away in a fire. Having no other known family, she was orphaned and forced to live in a Orphanage. Bullied by the others, Valentine was picked out of the crowd. The only way she knew to get rid of the ridicule was with violence. She constantly was harming others; this often led to solitary confinement.
She hated it there and knew the only way out. Death. Because of her constant attempts to get out, the Orphanage moved her to a mental health facility in the States, at age 15. She stayed there for awhile, but left after she was claimed 'Sane'. Now at age 19, she tries to live a normal life, but can't

Personality:Shy yet Open-minded. Albert always has an ear open for others. Even if he doesn’t know them, he will still listen. Don’t be softened by his nice boy outline. Albert is always ready for a fight and isn’t afraid to pick on himself. Very hidden by his emotions, Albert is like a Hermit Crab. Only around the ones he knows, will he trust. If someone new comes along, he will snap back into is shell and not say a word. Despite his shyness, Albert is extremely (as many say) perverted. He will laugh at almost anything he finds… suggestive. Be careful of that.

Without a glance over his shoulders, Albert set on a plane and headed to his Aunt Lee Anne’s house in the States. When he arrived, he lied. He told Aunt Lee Anne that Valentine wanted to stay and France and hated the smothering of her Auntie. He had begun a deep anger in his Aunt, but never knew. At least, not until that one fatal day.
He was 19 now, about to move from the house onto his own. It was that day that Valentine showed up on the door step. She had been searching for them forever. The stress of seeing the niece who ‘hated’ her, tore Aunt Lee Anne apart. When Albert left with his sister, he was suspicious. However, he ignored it.
Now he has forgiven and forgotten what his sister had done. Though, he still watches out for when she might break herself.

Personality: She is somewhat bi-polar. Though she rarely will make it seem
so she is always loud and hyper. Joy is often mistaken for having ADD or ADHD,
unless she is feeling depressed. When she feels depressed she will be silent and shy.
History: Joy grew up with her mom verbally and emotionally abusing her.
This did cause issues with her social skills, but she still is very loud no matter
what, learning that from her bi-polar mom. She was sent here by her parents who
are just affording to send her here. This is a break for her, not being threatened
by her mom, or yelled at by her. She does have a little sister that wasn't sent here
with her for the fact that she got along amazingly fine with their mom. She is smart,
which she doesn't really use and is only really seen on tests. Though musically inclined,
she rarely sings or longs for her flute that she was great at.
One time when she was thirteen she ran away for a time, just to escape her mother's
wrath. Smiles are scarce on her for the fact that her mom tried but terribly failed at
completely controlling her life.
