Elizabeth had laid back down against the rock enjoying the sunlight when she heard some shouts and clanging of metal. She quickly sat up and looked towards where she heard the sound. At the same time her horse looked up towards the noise and gave a nervous snort. Elizabeth looked over at him, "You heard that too didn’t you boy?” She walked over towards him with his bridle and saddle. “Alright, lets go check it how about it?” she asked him. He shook his head, nodding approval. She tacked him up and headed towards the noise.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed."
–Ralph Waldo Emerson
"My horses are my friends, not my slaves."
-Dr. Reiner Klimke
