After surviving the seemingly forever lasting war against your old kind the humans in the battle for Krull. you have been brought back to the human world and live in the Busy city studying, your back in your dying world, but the gods are still watching over you. Just hoveing and following you every where, you cannot escape. Unless you make the deal and are given the pen that can kill people, you take it and your Life is shortened but your Gods stay with you, forever no mater what you do.

So the plot is techniqly just that you have been sent back to the Human world and your god tricked you into shortening your Life. Short i know
