Dean sat next to her and lay down resting his head on his hands. "Jesse said you were untouchable. Mrs.No-man, if thats right why me?" he asked looking at orien's belt.

Alex laughed "or maybe it was" she said. She stepped back so her ankles were in the water and then she swan-dived backwards using her air powers. When she surfaced she was just a head in the middle of the dark lake. She went under and didnt rise.

Penelope shrugged. "Why does the wolf howl to the rising moon? Why is the grass green or water wet? I don't why I picked you. But I know that I love you. And that's the only reason I can think of."

Jesse tilted his head and sat at the bank, glowing orange in the dark because of his element, waiting for her to rise.

Alex rose out of sight on the other bank. She was going to make this hard for Jesse. When she had gone under a second time she had made an air bubble and swam here. Quickly she ran back to the school and into her dorm. She changed into her pyjamas and got into bed. it was midnight already. she knew dancing wasn't happening. she locked the door and smiled. Jesse was going to have to prove himself first.

Dean smiled "your right, as I know you will be more than me!" he said looking at her "but this time I know I'm right. I love you to!" he said and sat up pulling her into a hug.

Jesse waited a few more minutes before dunking a hand into the water. The light from his element allowed him to see through the water. When he realized she wasn't there, he called her name. When she didn't answer, he frowned and made his way back to the school. He walked up to her dorm and knocked after trying the door.

Penelope hugged him back tightly. She pulled away and kissed him.

Dean smiled under the kissed and pulled her down to him so they lay next to each other beneath the stars. "this is the thing you always see in movies" he stated "the girl gets the boy and they kiss beneath the stars, I never thought though that it would happen to me!" he said smiling.

Alex muffled her giggle in her pillow as she heard Jesse knock and call from behind the door. She wondered what he would do. She wanted to be sure he loved her and it wasnt just a bet or quick fling for him. She wasnt sure what it was for her.

Penelope smiled, glad that he appeared to be happy. She turned and looked up at the stars, her arm around his waist as she molded into his side, like two pieces of a puzzle.

Jesse tilted his head and took the form of a small ball of ash. He rolled underneath her door, then transformed back to his original shape. "Are you in here, my dear?"

Alex lifted her head from the pillow and looked around to see Jesse. "what!" she said a shocked expression on her face. Quickly she formed a bubble around her and floated out the window waving to Jesse. When she landed she ran to the fire training room where they had first bonded.

Dean put his arm around her shoulders and they lent against a tree staring at the stairs. Dean felt a wind blowing and in case Penelope was cold he made a sheet of grass turn soft and silky and wrap itself round them like a blanket.

Jesse looked down at her, watching her run. He grinned and laughed playfully before turning and sprinting out of the dorm, racing after her.

Penelope laughed quietly and smirked. "If I didn't know any better I would say you're trying to seduce me."

Alex smiled her hair flying around her as she ran the bubble lifting her above the ground. She laughed and slowed down popping the bubble so she fell into the trees. she landed on a branch and put her hand on the one above to steady herself. she waited for Jesse to come.

Dean laughed "is there a law against it?" he joked "no. I just dont want to you cold" he said gently brushing some hair from her face.

Jesse bounded after her and paused underneath the tree in which she sat. "Alex?" he called.

Penelope smiled and then frowned, sitting up. "Tell me the story of yourself. Everyone has one." She realized she knew hardly anything about this man.
