Cassie studied the scars she could see, her mind wondering what had produced such a thing upon him. "I think I can handle it." She persisted, she was getting tired of him not answering her question. Dancing around it like it was a deadly flame, It couldn't have been that bad! She was wrapped up in her thoughts and getting the answers from him that she didn't notice Trinity slip out of the room.

Alex stopped singing as the song died away. "My family died when I was five in a fire." She said, a bit sadly.

Taylor's singing cut off and a huge lump grew in her throat. "M-My parents died in..." Her voice trailed off as she saw the ghostly images of her parents along with her grandparents. The lump in her throat grew and she felt as if she was going to die from sufacating. She tried holding back tears but they overpowered her, making her burst into tears.

Alexis looked and Taylor, feeling her pain. She had know Taylor since they were eight and it seemed like they were sisters. She sighed, realizing that the talk about family had made an eerie quietness in the kitchen.

"It was a huge, evil war. It lasted for hundreds of years, ending when you were probably around eight years old. That's all I'll say." Phoenix crossed his arms, hoping she would stop asking things. The memories were too painful.

"Hey, anybody wanna go outside to the beach?" Alexis asked, eager to go outside.

Trinity walked over to Alexis. "I would love to go!" she said enthusiastically.

"Sweet! I love the outdoors!" Alex said, her bright brown eyes sparkling with excitement.

"No duh! Of course you love the outdoors, your basically an animal!" Taylor said, playfully nudging her friend.

"Oh you take that back clumsy-paws!" Alex said, shifting into a cheetah.

"Never!" Taylor said, shifting into a wolf and running out the kitchen door along with the front door.

Alex laughed inside her head and charged after Taylor. Just like the good old times... She thought.

Trinity followed Alex and Taylor outside. "Hey wait up, i am not an animal!" she said in a joking voice.

Ryan sat on a rock, hearing people come near. He turned into a lion and waited for them.

Alexis turned and glanced at her, not really paying attention. She saw the water and leaped into it, turning back into a human.

Taylor laughed and walked up beside her friend quietly. She than screamed and threw herself at her, dunking her into the water.

"Ooh you did it now!" Alex said playfully, turning into a dolphin and charging into the water, leaving Taylor to hold on.

Taylor laughed as Alexis pulled her around as a dolphin, this was actually kinda fun.
